<DIV>With the change to the stat caps has anyone given up the INT AA line to go down the STR AA line to grab Perfectionist & Pious? I like the increase on crits to INT but should we still be focusing on raising INT as much as possible? How much should we buff up STR to compared to INT now? I'm sick of wasting plat to respec.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Velthas on <span class=date_text>11-17-2006</span> <span class=time_text>08:00 AM</span>

Stat caps have gone up, but it seems like our proc'ing has too. More procs = more chances to crit poisons. Call me crazy, but I wouldnt think about changing to the str line.. No Sir. Not with max poison crits and 10% increase to poison damage.. I'll stick with Str/Agi.

I just got 4,4,4,4 in INT last night. Instead of saving up 8 points for the final I'm going to the caustic line. I see no point at all it going back to STR.<div></div>

<DIV>I thought the same thing but when they screw with stats it screws me up :/ Going down AGI/INT.. should I concentrate on equipment with +STR with a little INT or focus more on INT with a little STR? Consider the following:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nemesis Vest or Parasitic Cuirass?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>+STR Hex doll & + STR Idol of Zan Fi or +INT Hex doll & Book of Knowledge? Or Mixed?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Weapon Combo (which two would you pair under the new procing system):</DIV> <DIV>Talonsreach, Adamantine Dragonfang, Wurmslayer, Qeynos Cutlass?</DIV>
<DIV>i been using a formula to stop my headaches !</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>its 3 str = 1 int !</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>with that i dont loose any str if isnt worth a 3 times int on it, for example.. i would use the 15 str 15 int ring over a 20 str ring but would not use a 15 str 15 int item over a 25 str item..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>well its my formula, right now im sitting on 430 or so STR and 240 int, and i dont have such good gear.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>with the new items out im trying to reach 600 str by myself and whatever int i can, wont be easy but i think its doable. ( adorments etc )</DIV>

<P>i personal have never tired the str line and probley never will. </P> <P>i have 300 int usually in eof groups and with my poison usally hitting for around 800-1300. 1300 being crits with the int line set at 5,4,4,8 and caustic posion at 5 aa's so its does above average dmg imho <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </P> <P>and the hex doll/int doll question i have been using int dolls since my str is usally 600 plus in groups but when i get groups that do have alot of str buffs in it i switch to str.</P><p>Message Edited by jjlo69 on <span class=date_text>11-17-2006</span> <span class=time_text>07:10 AM</span>

<DIV>Considering the amount of times that I proc a poison, no way am I changing back to str. Group buffed I am in the high 500s with str most times and int is still 250+ (with no potions), I think those stats are decent for grouping. Raid buffed, my str is often 700+ and int is 400-500. It's very nice to be able to proc a poison (at the very least every other autoattack.... more really) for 1500-2k and I don't even have caustic poison line maxed yet. I'd rather see lots of little numbers happen more often than the big numbers that happen every few minutes. I think overall for longer fights (raids) agi and int is still the way to go while grouping str and agi is the best way to go. I have found for me the shorter the fight, the lower my dps is consistently (minus opening with big hits). Longer fights, however, I am much higher. YMMV.</DIV>

The STR line is complete garbage for a raiding ranger and anyone who thinks it's decent doesn't know what they're talking about.I tested it when I first got 50 AAs, and I tested it recently, after I'd been geared up twice as much. It still sucks.AGI / INT with max spell /ranged crits and Poise is the way to go.<div></div>

I like the str line personally. Having said that, I did switch to the int line some 2 months back and have no intention of switching back. How I wish the AA system was like EQLives...Merkades, 70th Ranger.Siege, Najena.<div></div>
