<P>Not so sure about "must have", but part of the "Set of the Marksman" drops off a named near the Artery in the Mistmoor Catacombs (or whatever the name of that zone is).  +18 str, +18 agi, +612 to a few resists.  Effect with 3 items is +2 to attack range... yipee.</P> <P> </P> <P>Strangely, the effect comes from 3 items, but there's 2 items in the set (ring and bow), and the ring I've found is Lore.  I guess I misread it...</P>

<P>Yeah, the Legendary version of the Kithicor armor is quite tasty. I can't say where they drop, but someone linked them all to be on beta and all alternate between 28 in two stats each piece of str, agi, sta or int IIRC. So a couple were str int I think, str agi, sta agi, etc. The bonuses for having the pieces is rather decent as well. </P> <P> </P> <P>Plus I just think it's really neat to go around in armor named after Kithicor. They could not have picked a better EQ Live ranger for that armor. Think using Najena for the mage armor was great, too.</P>

As far as I understood it, there's a Legendary and a Fabled set, unless they changed that. A brigand who was testing it out on the beta server mentioned that to me.<div></div>

The butler there drops your Class gear Shoulder pads it seems i've been 5 seperate times with guildy's and got class shoulder pads luckily including the ranger ones. However t-nite we got illusionists and got disco. Got the boots last night in Obelisk and thus far it looks like if I can assemble all the pieces it'll be a nice set. Thus far I've managed to score the boots and shoulders. I'll ask the same question someone else did and that is, has anyone seen the fabled set? I've seen two pieces of a fabled wizard set but no one has said thus far if there is a fabled ranger set. My guess is that much like the high end bows in game the fabled ranger pieces are going to be drops which are few and far between.

sweet, nice work getting the links. I am sure you don't know this but I thought I would ask anyways, get a discussion going on it maybe. With the full set bonus, it says 10% chance to double attack on your ranged attacks. How does this affect players with the double attack from the multishot line? does it give you 2 chances at 10% each to double attack, or does it give your double attack 20% chance? or maybe it becomes obselete?<div></div>

It has to either give 20% or 2 X 10% (not sure of the math on which would be better - it's early). If it cancelled it would be a waste, and much rioting would ensue<div></div>

Nesse thanks for the screenies. I have to say that after getting the relic set on beta while that is still excellent armor I wasn't AS impressed as I was expecting to be. I'll probably get a lot of arguments about this but this new fabled set is, I believe better and more practical in many respects than a full relic set. Granted it may not have the broad range of resists that some of the relic pieces have but I believe for myself obtaining a set like this is higher priority than the relic set simply due to set bonuses. When combined with a decent AA selection could provide a decent boost in the raid/group situations I find myself in right now.

I would like to see some int on some of the other pieces as it is the stat I have alot of troubles getting up. Aside from that, the full set bonus of that fabled set would be reason enough to wear I think<div></div>

Just as an update, the forearm piece dropped last night in crypt of valdoon. Off the last named in the room with all the stone gargoyles. Having just the first set bonus is providing a nice bump in dps.

I have heard, but not yet been able to confirm, that the hands for the legendary set drops in Kaladim. At least thats what they guy selling them for 24p told me. Not sure who, but I still have alot of name killing to do in that zone, so Im sure I will be back.

So basicly the rumour about the fabled class specific armor only dropping 1 per zone was maybe really meant as there is one specific slot per zone?.. However I was told by a beta player that trash had a minimal chance of dropping the new class specific like 0.5% or something, this can of course be misinformed... <div></div>ok sorry for double posting, but I thought this was worth a bump.. got a hold of Koldblade and he could confirm the drop of the Nighthunter leggins, well sorta.. from a 75 trippe up heroic named in Mistmoore catacombs, Sage something.. northern room in the basement...Edit: Also got a partial on the chestguard, Tenshi got it of an epic ring event in the northern tower of Mistmoore Castle, this does not mean it only drops there.. as we found out with the shoulderpads as they dropped of both epics and heroics (butler) in Catacombs... I have allready posted confirmed locations for the chestguard and the leggings, both stats and currently confirmed locations are posted. I'll remind you, as of now both the chestguard and the leggings drop in Mistmoore Castle. One was dropped of some named called Sage "something" Northern part of the basement in Mistmoore Castle, and the other was confirmed to drop from an epic ring event in the tower of mistmore castle. Both are confirmed drops, this does not mean they only drop there, but that is the current place they have dropped.You are however very wrong in your saying about no trade and not.. As of know only the gloves and leggings are discluded from being no trade, all other items are no trade. Helmet has yet to be discovered so we don't know about that one.<div></div>

If Im not mistaken there are 2 different treads with the ranger only chest and leggings. I posted one, and I forgot who posted the other. I wouldnt worry so much about those 2 pieces yet. Rumor is they drop off Mayong Mistmoore and Wuoshi

<p>well both would be good, but I honestly think 2 x 10% would be better.. cause then you have the chance to actually do 3x dmg on every shot.. instead of just double the chance for 2x dmg on every shot.. seeing as our proc rate is pretty high regardless. If you get lucky enough to get the belt of manifistations you will have 30 haste and not need that from the amulet of forsworn.  Without the haste a factor the other two wrist items mentioned will serve you better.  As for the neck slot, what would you suggest in its place? Edit: I think I get you. you are saying to use the amulet in the neck slot. intersting.
