ummm berserkers are great soloers and do very good dpsbut scouts... hmmm all scouts have more or less isues with soloing, mostly becouse lack of healing/survivability. i can go against yellow ^ but that is as much as i could go as ranger with adept 3s mastercrafted/legendary gear. Troubles start if we dont have room to kite. on regular mobs we can kill fast and very efficently but not on heroics becouse our stuns like cheap shot last only a fracture of time so we rangers cant stun go behind melee strike that put as in stealth and than heavy hitting melee strike we just dont have enough time.and even for those yellow ^ we need to start combat if we are jumped its evac or dieing time mostly (with some exceptions especially in lower tiers)to really hunt those yellow ^ we need to put trap, than hit mob with our high damage bow attack from max range than put as many shots we can till he hit a trap when he hit a trap run away, triple volley (or other high dmg bow attack) and snaring shot, trying to avoid meleeing as a disease...than you must count in the cost of doing this: mastercrafted caustic poison, eventually arrowsblue ^^^ are death, ofcorse in raid quality equipment it may be doable but still it isnt fast and efficent and require lots of free room to kite and could be very close calldont misunderstood me here i love my ranger im happy with him but its mostly group oriented class, soloing isnt it strong point((sorry for my english it isnt my primary))

pull with hidden fire M2, tripple fire, flaming shot if poss, point blank shot, start HO-> impale line,(which also stuns) then cheapshot, longshank into stealth, sneaky stabby move out of stealth and they should be about dead. All the tools are there, just most rangers dont think to use them (when is the last time they used ensnare or leg shot to slow the target?) And stack you poisons , one damage one debuff, one slow (basically one of each color) and as i recall, the grade of arrow you use only affects ranged auto-attack, which you wont be doing much of anyways.

proccy goodness is your friend.

and if your still trying to kite after LU13? where they removed the ability to fire ranged CA's while running, well, your wasting time or fighting something that is going to kill you and you probably wont hit anyways.

I've pretty much solo'd with my swashy to 35. He's a LOT of fun. You don't have to worry about range (they have few range CA's). You have some great melee AoE's. You can mez adds, you can just kick some total butt.

Brigand could probably be the best of the Scout soloists. Good DPS+Debuffs+Multiple Stuns+Mitigation Buff. For single target soloing, they shine. Swashbucklers for group encounters. Assassins do well if you learn the right sequence to use your skills, but burn power fast. Rangers make good solo'rs once you learn kiting. Bards are the worst solo'rs, Dirge being better then Troubadour.
