Is it me or does Precise shot suck?

I've been waiting for an upgarde to this for a few levels now and I just checked our skill progression thread to find there isn't one, it's damage sucks, especially when you compare it to our utility CA's such as snaring shot, almost tempted to remove it from my hotbar <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<P>I think it's rather handy. One of our AAs can give us 5% more damage on it. Plus with the proc increase it's damage can be rather tasty.</P> <P> </P> <P>Anyone else proccing like a mofo? My Gleaming Strike was going off on nearly every hit. And what was nice was I was fighting a group, got in Storm of Arrows and Gleaming went off on all of them. Never seen it do that on Storm before. </P>

I like precise shot. It doesn't do a lot of damage (though it does do more with AAs. Somewhere around 15% more damage. It's 3% per point if I remember right) and it's really fast. After poise you're looking at like 0.65 second cast time. You can fit it in almost anywhere it's almost like a free attack.<div></div>

<DIV>I dont mind it.  Its not a nuke, but a good filler.   Where it really shines is against mobs immune to physical dmg or pierce  (eg. <DIV>Yeah Precise Shot is a good attack its heat damage, and it refreshes really fast. Attacks like Precise Shot and Snaring Shot are just there to throw in-between bow auto attacks while you are waiting for the delay, they serve their purpose.</DIV>
