<DIV>Ok, I have seen quite a few people bashing the befriend animal aa because they say there aren't enough high level animals to charm. So I thought I would take it upon my self to make three catagories for animals to fall in so that my fellow rangers will know what to charm, and what not to charm.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Weak: These animals are pretty much worthless past their auto attack.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Beetles- They have a few CA here and there, but most of the are weak.</DIV> <DIV>Centipedes- Have a single dot and that is about it.</DIV> <DIV>Turtles- A few weak Ca</DIV> <DIV>Wolves- Same as Beetles</DIV> <DIV>Wasps- Got a dot...</DIV> <DIV>Crab</DIV> <DIV>Bats</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Average: Most animals in this group have a good auto attack score and some strong abilities.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Gorillas- Their auto attack kicks butt, but their CA are a bit on the weak side.</DIV> <DIV>Bears- Good auto attack and they have maul.</DIV> <DIV>Bats- Mainly for rabid bite</DIV> <DIV>Crocodiles- Decent auto attack and a few good CA</DIV> <DIV>Crawlers (split paw spiders)- They have a good dot from what I have seen, and that is it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Strong: These are the best animals to charm, they have good auto attack and great CA.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Spiders- Two great dots, one of which turns into a swarm pet upon termination, plus a debuff.</DIV> <DIV>Sharks- They kick some serious butt with both auto attack and CA.</DIV><p>Message Edited by littleman17 on <span class=date_text>11-08-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:12 PM</span>

<DIV>I mentioned cats under the weak list, they aren't the strongest animals out there. And yes, you can befriend ^ non named mobs. As with other charms, the animals you charm can only be used in zones where the animals are already found.</DIV>
