Has anyone seen the arrows summoned from this God ability? What tier are they? Is it of any use?

The Trueshot ability from Tunare summons 100 level 70 arrows and 100 level 70 throwing knives. All are no-trade, no-value, no-zone. They are not legendary and the reuse on the ability, like all god abilities, is 1 hour. It does give you a 10 minute buff that increases range and chance to crit though. Really though, it's the ONLY ability in the tunare line suited to rangers and it's very lacking at that, Especially when you consider Sol Ro gives his followers a pet that chain ae's for fire damage. My advise on diety options....wait for Karana. Hopefully he'll be geared towards rangers, especially since the lore for eq2 points that way.

how do these buffs work btw? I mean, if those are some sucky altars we have to go and worship and after that we get that buff... no-zone arrows really rock

Haha... no seriously, we get some spell/CA which we can use every so often, or?

++Xan

i think u have to go again and again and again to u altar each time u want recast the buff, but im not 100% sure, and altar doesnt accept all item, he seem to accept only tradeskill made stuff and quest item. And the biggest favor reward i seen is from repair kit that give around 350 ish if im right, that mean u need to give 1plat 30 gold if u want use that summon arrow stuff. They really need to remove that , u need to go back to altar always unless someone confirm u dont need to go back.

Message Edited by ZababEW on 11-05-2006 12:06 PM

for RP purposes I am still going with Tunare, my character has been a loyal ranger of tunare since I created him.

I have seen and used the altar given from the first tunare quest and I have also seen for purchase altars from a vendor at butcherblock docks - that vendor also sells the common and rare carpenter made recipe books for altars. I've also read that there are other altars available as part of mob drops, going all the way up to loot from epic mobs.

What I don't know is if these differant altars give differant abilities to use, the notes I read appear to hint at the possibility.

Rangers have really gotten hosed when it comes to dietys, while our assassin cousins are laughing thier assess off cause they have a choice of atleast 2 dps enhancing dietys, Zek and Inny.

Message Edited by Rahmn on 11-06-2006 09:01 AM

The alters are placed in your house. You pray at it and select one blessing (1 minute buff/ability) and one miracle (10 minute buff/ability). You get 2 uses of that blessing/miracle for each time you purchase it, all have a 1 hour reuse timer btw. After using it twice you have to go back to your house to "buy" it again with your faith. I first summoned the arrows in my house then zone out and they were still there, but when I camped they vanished. I think that's what they mean by no-zone on these arrows.

i think it means after you use the ability you can't zone out with them, then they disapeer(or camp) I'd expect a "temporary" tag to be place on them as well. Sounds like other temp items, ie; priest rez items, hearts, essances, etc..
