I have a question for those of you with a better understanding of the games mechanics than I. How is it possible for two players, player number one with a lower amount of STR (approximately the same power pool and AGI, and other wise similarly geared as player number two) but have a higher actual damage rating on Grizfazzle bow? IE player number one griz shows a range of 390 - 1100 (numbers are very approximate as I didn't write them down) however the difference in actual damage of his and mine equates to 30 at the low end 60ish on the high end. The only real difference gear wise between the two being that player number one with the higher damage rating on griz is using fabled DW weapons and has relic boots. Yes I know neither should effect the DR of the bow but I throw that out as a list of the the major distinctions (others being race, one being half elf the other kerra) beside player number one's STR being lower than player number two.The back story being that on the recommendation of a few other rangers I decided to respec down the STR line. I expected a slight bump or for my dps to not change much. However just the opposite happened. I went with STR based armor and started using an acryla hoop in the ear slot to further push my STR up. I did not change even one ounce of how I play I just changed armor and my dps dropped like an elephant wearing cement shoes. Sniper could no longer crit over 7K no matter what, veiled was lucky to hit 3k. Nothing helped, not even being way over the str cap when I was fully raid buffed. Put my INT based gear back on to push it up and still no change at all. I was pulling my hair out and talking to anyone in guild that would listen to me trying to figure this out. I still can't figure it out but have since respeced again down INT and poof up jumps my dps again. No I'm not talking about combined dps because of the extra poison procs I'm talking about raw auto attack and ca dps. I'm willing to take yes for an answer and just live with things being this way for what ever reason but I'd really like to know what the heck could be going on.Anyway I just thought I'd toss that question out there for anyone that might have an answer.
