Equipment Choices

<DIV>I generally have been maxing out STR & INT as much as possible for raiding and I've not really worried about what I'm DW as most of my damage comes from range. I like using the combo of the "Iceforged Sai's" when at range because they proc off of ranged attacks, which increases my DPS by up to 10%. My question is which of the following weapons would you combo; when and why? <DIV>Im not certain, but I believe that the pet "whirling blades" that procs off Windrazor breaks stealth, much like our stupid hawk. I know our assassin was having issues staying stealthed after picking it up. If anyone knows differently, please correct me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Qeynos Cutlass, I have this and I only equip it for looks. I shoulda taken the 1hder. The proc on this thing is utterly useless. But it does look nice with QC in one hand, and Oblivion in the other.</DIV>

<P>Mark of Awakening   vs   Swansong Choker.</P> <P>Both good, but MoA always been the best, and hard to give it up for anything else.</P> <P>However ... i strongly recommend every ranger to get the Swansong Choker!   I've had a vision of the future :smileywink: and the future looks great.</P> <P>re: best dw's</P> <P>DW Pierce. .... GDoH.   There's another thread on another forum discussing this further.   Some argue GDoH the best while others bring up a new argument that the Dirk of Negativity is best.   Both good, so get 1 or the other or both.   Vyemm's Fang is also nice.</P> <P>DW Slash ... Does anyone still use the Iceforged Sai combo? It still procs of ranged, and it adds roughly 8-10% on my DPS, spiking with multiple mobs, obviously. I don't see the use of using anything else as I do my damage from ranged, and when I rush in to do my melee stuff, I do it from the sweet spot so I continue to auto-shoot between CAs.
