If you could do it again, would you roll a Ranger, Conjurer, Assassin or a Necromancer? I for one, love the scout class, but I'm partial to casters.

I'd still roll one today. However I do have both an Illusionist and a Wizard alt that I enjoy playing as well. I've played every class up to about lvl 20ish and these are the only three toons I still have on my account. Though as I've said before I'll probably roll a Fae Guardian or Zerker cuz I think that'll be funny to watch plate tank with wings beating a mob down.

I have rolled a conjuror. Soloing isn't a cakewalk like a lot of people make it sound, but it's definitely a lot easier than soloing as a ranger. My mage can take out blue ^^^'s and yellow ^^'s no problem. If I tried doing that on my ranger, I'm pretty sure I'd get clobbered (at least in KoS zones since there is NO room to kite, anywhere). But.. given the option to make one or the other my main.. ranger definitely :smileywink: I enjoy a good challenge.

In the non KoS zones with more room it's not as much of an issue but making the comparisons in tight zones when playing my wizzy or my illusionist I say to myself quite often "My Ranger would have one helluva tough time with these". Now give me a bit of room and the stupefying poison procing on the first ranged hit or sniper shot being up and I'm golden even on blue triple ups.

I think I'd play my necro. Soloing (names) is a challenge but definately possible. Group DPS is veerrryy nice too. Plus there's something sadistically cool about slurping life to keep yourself alive. It's like having two power pools but you need both to not die.

I'm starting to have a lot of fun with the betrayed ranger -> asssassin. They can do quite a lot of damage in a short period of time, even better than rangers IMO. I kind of miss the arrow aspect, though.
