T6 Ranger Bows?

So I've seen a lot of talk about T7 and 8 bows in the resource sticky, but I recently just hit 50.  Prior to that, I had checked the broker every day for bows without luck.  I had tried asking around, again without success.  What I'm looking for is something to improve upong the Shadowsing Longbow (or basically anything with a higher DR than 51).  If I go for the mastercrafted T6 bow, I'd get a .2 increase to DR and extra stats, but that would be it.  I'm looking for something more along the lines of a DR of 60ish or thereabouts on a legendary/fabled bow.  However, I have no idea where to find one.  Any info would be a great help, even if it's one of those "well a friend of a friend's sister's brother's aunt's counsin told me..." deals.  If I don't upgrade my bow whenever possible, I feel like I have ranger ED.<div></div>

T6 ranger bow. Hmmm i think there was only one almost decent one that drops off the spiderqueen. T6 wasn't known for a whole lot of bows. It's SoE way of keeping population down.

This was the only bow that I recall as well, other then player crafted that is. Course back when I was in T6, player crafted legendary stuff was all anyone really needed.

Aye, I heard about that one T6 bow, Darkfury Longbow I believe.  It's got a required lvl of 59 though, so it might as well just be T7, or one might as well just wait for a T7 bow.  I might look into that in a few lvls, but as for now I guess I'll just go with the mastercrafted.  /sigh  At the very least I'll get a stat upgrade, I guess.  The lack of bows for T6 is depressing though.  I was just hoping that something new might have been introduced since whenever the Darkfury Longbow was mentioned.  Oh well.  Thanks guys.<div></div>

<DIV>Check the delays on the bows as well.  Longer delay is more chances to proc stuffs. Proccing poisons is based off delay of weapon. Get CAs off in between auto attacks so you max the auto attack as well.    I am not sure what the relative delays are there, I used crafted cause it was the heat in the day.</DIV>

I don't remember much of T6 bows.. I used Mastercrafted up to 60ish.. then used a shortbow (yes yes I know, the bane of Rangers.. less range lol) but it had a higher DR and faster attack  than my mastercrafted T6 bow.  Then I found what I believe the best bow in the game (strictly because of Range + DR + Speed);  Bow of Searing Missiles.  believe it is Lv.64 Req? But geezus 45meter range (10 more than all other bows in game) plus fastest attack speed I've seen yet.. and a 90% Proc, granted it only procs like 12-15heat damage (that's without debuffing their heat btw), but from what I can tell that proc interrupts + It goes off pretty much everyshot both CAs and AutoAttacks seem to set it off.. It's crazy like getting 2 hits per shot heh.. and again the Range is the most important factor!  nobody else can hit 45meters away except for other rangers (Hawk Dive has 45meter Range if I remember right).. and believe spells only have max range of 35-40meters.. that extra 5meters is a big thing when you keep things snared.Also look at the stats, even if a bow shows slightly lower DR if the stat boosts are largely greater than your current bow you will actually do More damage (that is if it's Str that it increases).. also attack speed is good to watch.. something that hits hard and slow isn't as useful as something that hits softer and faster.. PvP is all about speed, controlling the tempo of the fight.  hard thing to do if you attack slow <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

i have to agree with the above poster.  The bow of searing missles is great b/c of the range on it.But have you noticed that procs have been going off less on that bow as of late(since all double attacking classes have been noticing their double attack procs going off less->see swash forum)? <div></div>

its a real thorn in my side that ironwood bows got such a big nerf.  Now if u wanna good t6 bow u gotta do peacock... ughor you can go to Enchanted lands and get that wicked t4 bow.  Spikeshot of Doom off of the big fish in the little pond for foomby's stolen goods quest.i was kidding about getting the t4 fabled. its not worth the time.<div></div>

Hey everyone, I just wanted to say thanks for the responses.  I won't lie and say I'm not bummed, but hey, who knows what will come out with the new expansion in less than a month, right?  Could be they stack T6 with a crap-ton of bows.  And thank you all for the information on other bows that I might be interested in as well.  For now I guess I'm sticking with the Ironwood LB that I just invested in.  =)<div></div>
