Must have Gear from Labs

Hi all, I see a few threads here about the gear you should have end-game, but I'm scared to death to bid on anything with DKP because I know as soon as I do, I'm going to find something that I want better on the next kill, with my luck...Relic is a given, It will probably be the best armor I can get for a while, I'm sure...What about weapons/bow? or Jewelry?Are there any items that are a MUST HAVE for a beginning raider that is in a smaller guild that does all of the labs, and parts of other instances? The labs are the only one we have been able to clear so far.Thanks<div></div>

<P>If you aren't killing the mobs that drop better bows, you'll want the wurm bow off the first eyeball guy.  Yes, you'll trade it in eventually, but not until you kill some end mobs or deathtoll.  (Correct me if I'm wrong?)  There is one other bow at that level from Ascentx2 I think but nobody raids that regularly.  Going from grizzie's 80 DR to 90 or so makes a big difference.</P> <P>I think the Nemesis leggings from the boss guy (unslavering) are some of the better ones and worth bidding on.  Has excellent resists, str and int.</P>

<div></div>Well, the Nemesis Leggings can drop off of the Slavering Alzid.  Until you get into Death Toll or are killing the contested cubes the Wurmdestroyer Bow  is a good one (shortbow though<span>:smileysad:</span>) Nemesis Boots drop off of Alzid Prime.  Vyemm's Fang is a nice DW and drops off of, surprize, Vyemm.   Belt  of the Doomflight is one of the best if you have the DT access  bracelet for haste.  The Echolic Band is also a very nice ring that drops off Pardas Predd and has some nice poison resistance as well for when you starting giving Tarinax a go.<span></span><div></div>

Absolution, Oblivions Edge and Adamantine Droagfang are nice Labs drops.

So what? Like no one here likes the Draketooth Hoop? There is actually a lot of decent scout gear to be had out of Labs, just waiting on drops can sometimes be a PITA!

Labs really is a great zone for scouts, I noticed some time ago that most of my gear is actually from Labs. I decided to take a screenshot to illustrate it. <DIV>Echolalic Band and the Ring of Relkententinar ar both very nice drops, though in all my motnhs of hitting Labs, I've only seen them drop once or twice (for me, mostly <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ). Belt of the Doomflight if you can get it... Bracelet-wise you're probably best off with the Claymore quest reward one with +30 to each stat, and the Amulet of the Forsworn from DT access quest for haste.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>One of the eyes drops the Wurm Destroyer Bow, which as has been said before is a good upgrade to Grizzfazzles plus has a Droag proc on it so it's nice for Labs. It's more than likely the first fabled bow you'll be able to get your mitts on as the others are a lot rarer. Both Ancestral Sarnak (from Venekor) and Ichorstrand (from Amorphous Drake) are some of the nicer things you can look forward to later on. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

An Assassin and myself were the only preds in the guild at the time that actually played. The Assassin was new to the guild so I just bid what he had as current spendable DKP and won with tie breaker rules. We have had a couple of them go to waste and be vendored now, so newer preds get it even cheaper if/when we get newer preds.Merkades, 70th Ranger.Siege, Najena.
