That DR + proc worries me a bit tbh. It's obviously a step up from Venekor in that it has similar DR and adds a proc - and is a nice step in the item progression direction - harder mob - better gear.I wouod love to know how it performs zonewide with T8 ammo <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Mirdo.<div></div>

<P>Yeah both bows from the Matron went to an assassin and a berserker. So a ranger has yet get the chance to test out that fine bow to it's fullest potential. Either case, can't wait to get my hands on a copy of that bow and give it a test run with my T8 ammo.</P> <P>The bow certainly does look awesome. <P>Having a second bow in the game of this caliber seems a little too good to be true.  How hard is it to get to this mob?  I've seen very limited action in this expansion after the first week it was out.</P> <P>As far as the animation, it looks pretty cool.  Except for the paddles on the ends, that is.  Not going to complain though, it's just nice to have different animations for different bows and I would never pass on a good bow because of the animation.  That would be like...  Never mind.</P>

<P>Grats TBA on the bows.  It's nice to see that they DO in fact have the graphic from the Ranger's of Growth bows.  This puts these at not only the best (arguably) bows in the game but the only bows PC's can use that have this graphic.  </P> <P>Oh, and for the people asking, the Direvine Matron is the hardest contested in the game right now.  It's nice to see the loot from her reflects that some what.</P>

Yes I agree, one on the best (arguably) bows in the game.  Its so funny with all the treads weather the War Bow or Bazul is the best bow or not and then BAM, another bow pops up.  Kinda amazing how in this tier, that there are so many bows out there vs the previous tiers.

We wouldent be so [Removed for Content] off on a small "patch" that many people will never see.. that STILL doesnt fill the gap.. I think it's a bit early to complain about the drop rate of this bow.  Matron has been killed what, 5 times ww so far?  TBA had TWO of these bows drop in the same chest.  Give it time, let guilds start killing her more often (those that can) and the rest of us get to the point to take her down and see how often they appear.

Speak for yourself, I normally don't cap anything.</P> <P> </P> <P>It's a great bow, aye higher delay and more procs, but it will come down to... is the extra .5 delay worth the extra damage at the end?  (I can't recall the stats, but it looks like it's 8 more damage on the minimum side, and I think I remember sarnak being 722? so it's about 40 at the top end).</P> <P>The extra 1 second delay was sacrificable to the 150 damage increase from 7 second to 8 second bows, but this decrease is MUCH smaller.. and unless the proc on this bow works properly, this bow may just end up being a backup to Sarnakk. <DIV>Both rangers in the guild have other T7 fables.  So we believe that giving these out to others is fair.  The two rangers will get these soon enough so we are very happy with the decision.  One the the rangers (Silvanthalanas), has every T7 fabled so no biggie to both of us.  Its just our mentality.  It will come around.</DIV>

I got this bow the other day, and according to someone in the ranger channel I think I might be the first ranger to equip one.  I like it alot.  We've never had a sarnak or dragonhorn bow drop, so it was a very welcome addition.  So far my highest auto-attack hit was a crit for 8474.<div></div>
