<DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ok - this is a macro that i've created to burn off my close range CA's easily and quickly. It's set up so stuff will go in order of how you'd normally burn your CA's -  (it also has HO and Bounty built into it. It's great for pvp, being that I'm on a pvp server. ( those not on a pvp server can probably remove vines from the macro if you want, not as necessary and will waste a few seconds of DPS)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> <DIV>This macro is set up using the last of each spell set. If you're not level 70 just replace the spell names with the lower level spell name.</DIV></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What you want to do first is from the main menu go to Socials > Macros > Create Macro</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Paste this stuff in the 3 lines: </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/: ; usea Ranger's Blade ; usea Emberstrike ; usea Lucky Break ; usea Bladed Opening ;</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/: ; usea Cover Fire ; usea Vines ; usea Point Blank Shot ; usea Mortal Reminder ; usea Arrow Rip ;</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/: ; usea Lunging Joust ; usea Shocking Thrust ; usea Elude ; usea Bounty  ; usea Longblade ;</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>After you have the Close Range Combat Macro created, what you'll want to do is place it on to one of your hotbars.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now, what I do is bind a key to that space on the hotbar and just mash on the key over and over in combat - works for me really well, especially in pvp</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Good luck and hopefully this helps a few rangers out there that are new to the world of macro's!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>(best to be stealthed and behind your target at the start of the macro, if not, no worries it's set up to work stealthed or not)</DIV> <P>Message Edited by Akient on <SPAN class=date_text>09-18-2006</SPAN> <SPAN class=time_text>09:05 AM</SPAN></P><p>Message Edited by Akient on <span class=date_text>09-18-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:07 AM</span>

Any other PvP rangers have tips or tricks for a young ranger?

Another thing I forgot to mention - I remove point blank shot in this macro for pvp, or if you want to move around while mashing your hot button, since point blank shot will not cast while moving and put you in a loop where you're not casting CA's. If you stand in one spot while doing your close range CA's, leave it in there.
