<DIV>Well let me start by saying this is not a flame or whine thread. This is a hey this happened to me what is your worse experience kinda thread. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh yeah and its to have fun one of those things where you look back at it and laugh..... someday when worse things are happening to you...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It seems here lately I have some pretty crappy luck when it comes to raiding:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>DT Dragons --- I got invited into a pick up group for Tal along with 3 other guildies and we ended up with one of the 4 updates before the rest of the guild. (That was a good thing) Then as a guild we go get Vyemm, then Harla, then Gore gave us some trouble so the we went and got Tal. Now the guild needs Gore. So we go we figure out what we were doing wrong get it down to 10% hit lag spike raid wipes. No problem cause we got it figured out so of course we pull Gore and I go LD and yeah they killed it. So I'm all happy that we're in DT but now I got to wait for Dragon Back Flagging to have my own DT access and the haste thingy. So basically I went from possibly being one of the first in the guild to have DT access and the ability to log in my fellow guildies to being sad as everyone links their uber wrist item <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Fast Forward 2 weeks---</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Last night we go Dragon Back Flagging <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Harla smoked</DIV> <DIV>Gore smoked</DIV> <DIV>Labs run for Vyemm (who got smoked) and Loot and Glory</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So rock on got my update... guild gets 3 dragons in one night to catch up alot of people... good times...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>except.....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>We killed 3 Epic Dragon and a whole Labs run and the only scout item we saw all night was a pair of Nightcord Boots for the bards....:smileysad:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So like I said not whining not flaming just one of those things where if you don't laugh at the things you have to cry...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone else have similar experiences you wanna share stuff like "the tank won the Fabled bow" or the "guild leader sold the Elude Master cause he didn't think you needed the lvl 60 CA"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It doesn't have to be raiding it could be pick up groups, quest groups, adventures while solo whatever. Think of it like therapy I already got the couch warm for you. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

a pervious labs run - we had 4 pieces of bardloot drop.. we have 0 bards in our guild (and this has happened on more than one occasion)..Gnorbl our first time - reset after 5% (not went to full health - but reset).Falling through the hole on gore your first gore raid.. On more than one occasion. Remember when you used to play pingpong off walls?Being into a piece of [Removed for Content] guild where u are the first to signup for godking and then forced to sitout because the raidleader is a dumbnut.Running through thundering stepps at level 8 to the shore at the giants are looking for the ranger trainer. Then spending a week tryin to get ur shards back.. (I CANT be the only one thats done this).

Not EQ2 really, but EQ1 I had an awful experience with Terris Thule. I wasn't in a raiding guild (by choice not that I didn't have time for it) but I was in an open raiding alliance that made our way through the planes. Through various problems, not getting rezzed in time, or a couple times wiping and not getting to try again, or lag causing my hail of the planar projection to be lost in space, etc, it took me 7 tries to get backflagged for Terris Thule in the PoP progression. I hate that mob now.<div></div>

<P>Those moa4 raids. /grrr</P> <P>I have a good connection and great computer. I zone fast and play on a decent visual setting with no lag whatsoever. However when in an MoA 4 raid I loose connection when the last mob is pulled. No idea why but its predictable. And it only happens on the first pull. Here's my last 4 attempts...</P> <P>1st time, lost connection on pull, reconnect, missed update, everyone is dancing and happy (except me)<BR>2nd time, SAME THING! Everyone updated but me. /sigh<BR>3rd time, lost connection AGAIN!!! Reconnect just intime to see the last mob die (out of raid of course)</P> <P>4th time, OMG, I'm /buggin this. I reconnect just in time to see the raid wipe. But I get reinvited, we reform and I finally get the kill. </P> <P>Been lvl70 for 4 months and finally get my MoA.</P> <P>Other pet peeve? I used to host pickup labtrash raids every night. X2 groups of good players who'll go as deep as The Corsolander<sp>. Back before the LU26(?) I did this twice a night whenever possible. After 2 months I've YET to win any chain. For some reason the new guy (never been to labs) rolls 100's. </P> <P>Then I hafta bit my lip as he (the new guy) asks what a relic pattern is for...</P>

<DIV>All I can say is.. I feel your pain. While I didnt go LD in a raid and missed out on my DT access updates, I did have to wait nearly a month after my guild had access before I could get my own Amulet. They just happened to raid Tal and Gon on days that I couldnt be in attendance, and actually had to switch around raid days so that I could finally get the updates. Im very happy that they did. For a ranger, that is one very good piece of gear to own.</DIV>

<P>First Labs raid ever for our guild...we kill Uncaged Alzid, he drops Oblivion's Edge. The only other ranger in the guild wins it. She quits the game a month later. </P> <P>MOA3 - crashed in the middle of the solo trial every time I tried it. It doesn't take THAT long, but I couldn't get 20 minutes of uninterrupted play if my life depended on it. Luckily I finally succeeded in time to raid MOA4 with some friends.</P> <P>Prismatics was full of that kind of crap... a lag spike that caused a lava bath while on the final walkway to Naggy. Gong is in sight when my screen hitches up for a few seconds. Unlocks in time to see my body in midair, then hear a nice sizzle as I hit the lava. </P> <P>On another Naggy run, a friend of mine zoned into Naggy's chamber just in time to get yanked to zone-in by another guildie's Evac. He was still in early 50s, so that meant another hour or two running BACK down. </P> <P> </P>

<DIV>Hehehe the selling of the Elude master and the tank getting the Fable bow were just examples. I'm lucky enough to have a guild that is very "guild" first "me" second minded. We have seen lots of loots almost rot cause people were arguing in Vent that they wouldn't take something cause they felt another person could use it more.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And Jay Oblivion's Edge has dropped one time for us and I was late to the raid and just climbing the wall to the clicky orb when one of our Troubs won it <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh well the couch is still warm, I at least feel better. Who's next for some therapy????</DIV>

<P>Back in the T6 days, when we were good and stream of arrows was good, I lost a SoA master to some bozo ranger the leader had invited for "more dps". I was doing like 1200 dps, he was doing 250. We need weighted rolls <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I was mad about that for like 2 weeks.</P> <P>Mediocre players winning the best loot always happens in pickup raids I'm on *cry*</P>
