Is stream of arrows worth getting? Seriously. I've heard bad things about it post-patch and it's almost impossible to even find on my server so i don't know if it's worth going through the trouble to get made.<div></div>

Though I don't have it, keep in mind if it really is gimped it may be more useful by the result of some random patch <span>:smileyhappy:</span> In other words, "can't hurt to have it made just in case, plus you can see for yourself".<div></div>

It is worth it when you can first use it. SOA slowly loses it's flavor as you gain levels though. By the time you hit 70 it will be almost worthless. I say almost, because it will fire when you are feared. This is always a good thing <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

There was another thread posted with a whole long discussion of the pros and cons of SoA you might want to check it out. But to summarize, some ppl felt that SoA was good, others felt it was useless. And the fear thing was mentioned, and haste was mentioned, poisons and spell quality, bow dps was also discussed.

I bought it. I found an adept 1 for 28 gold. I don't regret it. It's an extra bow shot. so when everything else is down I can do it instead and it's like having free mediocre ranged CAs basically. Once they start popping again I can cancel it and start firing off the real damagers. It's also good if I need to grab something to eat or drink =P <div></div>

<font size="2">One thing I noticed this past weekend...and I'm hoping it was just me...but I think it was stealthed nerfed.  On 2 different mobs through 4 different occurrences of being feared, SoA was not firing.  Yes, I cast it several seconds before the fear landed...and stream shot ceased to fire for the duration of the fear.  Every time.I still don't think it's absolutely worthless, but at 70, it's indeed of limited value.  If you have the rare, it's worth having the ad 3 made.  But I, myself, wouldn't spend more than 4 or 5 plat on the master if it was available.</font><div></div>

<div></div>well i agree here with some ppl ... the most ppl say this CA is worthless, b/c you can do more dps with bow autoattack ... and the most ppl are asking for a boost for this ability .... well SoE, how about to make SoA an encounter AE bow CA ?  increase the reuse timer to 45sec, leave the rest (dmg min-max, stifle, root etc, 30sec duration, 1,5s delay, 10% hate gain (m1)) then, in some situations, Stream would be usefull and the most rangers out there would be a little bit happier <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> at least rangers should get more AE's ..open or encounter ..whatever, since Assa's are the best single target DPS scouts, rangers should be ....well, thats up to you<div></div><p>Nachricht bearbeitet von Dojocan am <span class=date_text>09-14-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:15 AM</span>

Just for clarity, Stream is our level 55 ancient teachings CA, not level 52; that's Thorny Trap.

Xney is right as you level and you get better bows  Grizzle and up  SoA becomes much less efficent  casting killing instinct and honed reflexes and autoattacking for 30 sec is much better  IMO  if want to let CAs refresh like you mentioned previously.

Seems like they may have changed streams. Poison can go off an each shot again. Also the timing seems to be fixed, its going off fairly fast. Now I dont use this skill often so this might have been like that for awhile now, but just noticed it last night.
