tier 8 arrows on normal bow

The T8 ammo gives a decent increase in auto damage but only had it a week or so - only one parse per zone for comparison so far - and as you know zonewides can vary based on group anyway.</P> <P>It's defintely worth spending some dkp on Ichor (as an ammo tool only) if Baz and Sarnak not dropped for you.</P> <P>I'm on RE too - Remnant, shoot me a tell and I'll see if I can get some data for you.</P> <P>Mirdo.</P>

Its actually pretty difficult to determine if there really is any benefit to the ammo since ranged damage varies so greatly. I use the ammo from Bazkul and use the Sarnak bow. My ranged damage varies from 900 to 5k. The only reason I know Sarnak does more damage than Bazkuls is the max crits I have hit. With Bazkul I get around 6k (using focus aim, so pretty much at 100% dps mod) and with Sarnak I hit almost 8k.

<P>I've hit for over 8K with Sarnac and using the T8 ammo from Ichorstrand.  Doesn't happen alot but enough and there's nothing better then seeing a parse listed with the high hit saying   Crycthonn pierce - 8,206   or something similar <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Think my highest hit so far was around 8.5K.</P> <P> </P>

There's no doubt whatsoever in mind the ammo increases DPS by 100 upwards depending on fight.Mirdo.</div>

it's kinda sad how ichor ammo + just about any other bow rocks, that poor bow, all it is good for is summoning snot globs, no one dares actually fire them from it.  Too bad they don't have a cool custom graphic.<div></div>

I dont think a cool custom graphic would help Ichor, unless someone just wanted to stand around QH all day and look pretty. If the Devs actually wanted somone to use that bow, it would have had a better damage rating the the legendary Sinew Wrapped. A shame really.
