<DIV>After having taken a lookat our CA list, we will slowly start losing upgrades to our skills that raise any attribute by a percent. (Our hate deaggro buff is an example of this) At these points, we should also start getting new skills in their places, below is a list of my ideas for these.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Master's Shot: This attack does high damage and can not be mitigated, evaded, blocked or deflected.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Recast: 3 Minutes</DIV> <DIV>Cast Time: 3 seconds</DIV> <DIV>Damage: 6k - 9k</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Slicing Arrow: A quick ranged attack that does minor upfront damage and severe damage over time. (honestly... why don't we already have a ranged dot?)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Recast: 20 seconds</DIV> <DIV>Cast Time: 0.3 seconds</DIV> <DIV>Duration: 6 seconds</DIV> <DIV>Damage: 300-500 and 700-900 every second there after</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Arrow Bomb: Fires an arrow with a bomb attached to it that does medium fire damage to the target and all nearby enemies. Stunns all enemies hit by it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Recast: 2 minutes</DIV> <DIV>Cast time: 1 second</DIV> <DIV>Duration: 2 seconds</DIV> <DIV>Damage: 400-700 (aoe)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone else have any logical ideas that fits our class (as in don't try getting us ca that let us do what other classes do)?</DIV>

masters shotdmg for for master shot is a bit high imo, honestly a shot that cannot miss will more than likely have a lower dmg that most of your current CAs.slicing arrowway too much dmg. 5k every 20 sec is a bit much and that is before debuffs mind you. arrow bomb recast for a that low of dmg should be 45 sec or min max. thats a pretty weak AE at t7.overall i like the ideas though, the dmg on the first needs tweaking and the recast on the third.

An arrow DoT would be pretty nice especially if the DoT worked with Toxic Expertise like it's suppose to.

Simple fix.. Snaring shot to 800-1.2k damage at 480 strReduce vieled fire to 1.5s cast timeReduce miracle shot (whatever its called) - to 1sReduce Devitalizing arrow to 1sReduce culling of the weak to 1sReduce snaring shot to 2.5-3ish sOnly thing that changes here from what I have said in the past - keep tripple volly at 1.5s.Its a simple fix cause damages between assassins/rangers are pretty much the same while casts are not.. Changing these abilities to 1s will keep the dps the same between the two classes, with the diffrence in proc rates/damage will keep damages similar between classes with the 0.5s extra cast times for rangers.

what no spreadsheet showing how this boost rangers to wher ethey should be shame on you LL. i really cannot take these as viable means to balance since there is no data to back up the claims.and you keep talking about cast times all you want. ranged cast times are longer than melee, thats just the way its gonna be. im sure a wizzy would like their cast times reduced as well. 5 sec for fusion in melee range is long, but they deal with it.

Now, lets look at the wizard abilities Ice nova has a 4s cast time - and does 5k-11k damageSunstrike on a 2s cast time does 3k-6k damage(I may be thinking about ball of lava though)Wizards also have two dots plus protoflame - the two dots will hold there dps around the 400-500 range - unforutnatly I cant give any dps number for protoflameBlah you know what.. forget it, parsings alone hold enough info for me. I dont feel like racking my brain trying to remember the damages of wizards spells that I only play once every few weeks or so. </div>

Hmm or will LoreLady's idea of simply fixing the recast times be slightly easier. <span>:smileysurprised:</span> Although I do agree with a Ranged DOT. <div></div>

<div></div>There should be ( not saying there will be) some live event that has some hardcore quest [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] thats a complete pain in the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] to complete which gives you a new CA that does something useful, and if you miss out on the quest the final mobs which should be an x4 contested would also drop 1 of those spells (instead of adept 1 scrolls <span>:smileywink:</span>) when they're killed. idc w/e the new [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] might be if there is any at all, as long as its not an upgrade to the gimptard hawk that siphons 27% aggro instead of 24! <div></div><p>Message Edited by Naku9 on <span class=date_text>08-16-2006</span> <span class=time_text>06:23 AM</span>
