<P>I forogt one piece of evidence</P> <P>Lately you are able to betray at any level. Is that because they want you to switch from ranger to assassin or something else?</P>

Well, I do agree that they want less people to play rangers because there are so many, though let me make a couple points. One, the prices on master I's are higher for rangers, because there are more rangers. More demand = higher prices. Second, for PvE server's, it doesn't really matter if there's more good than bad, and on PvP servers, there already is considerably more evil than good players.

I think SOE is evil, therefore they want players to be evil also. hehehehehe

<DIV>I don't think the Devs intentionally create problems with ANY class. That'd be stupid, and completely contrary to their best interests. I believe them when they say they're trying to design the best game they can - that IS in their best interests - but their "best game" may not be your favorite game, and the changes they make b/c they seem them as necessary may not be changes we happen to agree with as players. (Dang, I should work for Sony eh? I'm all PR spin up in this beeach.)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That said...I doubt change classes to influence city population. That'd be pretty silly. If they want to help FP population increase, maybe deploy horde of trained gnomes with brooms and washrags to make the residential districts look a little less filthy. It'd take a pretty hardcore roleplayer to enjoy living in the cesspits outside the city proper.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I do suspect PvP has more to do with some changes in the PvE game than SOE lets on, though. *adjusts tinfoil hat*</DIV>
