 Hey EveryoneI never thought it would come to this but the lastest statements have extinguished all hope that I have had for the ranger class...Rangers are great fun, generally good people play the class, ranger chat channels world- and serverwide is fun, piling thousands of arrows on a huge zone boss is fun, one-shotting solo mobs was great fun back in the day.....But it seems all hope is lost for the class now.I want to applaud all the people who did their best to point out the problems with the class to the Development team. It looks like all your hard work was in vain but the commitment to bring about change that you have shown is nothing less than admirable. With the latest statements from the development team I have lost all litttle hope i had for an improvement of the ranger as a raiding class i EQ2 (and thats's what the game is all about for me)So Djax will sit on the shelf for a long long time it seems . remembering the good times <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />At this point I am undecided of whether I will quit this game that I  love so much or roll a character that I am absolutely sure will not fit me as much or bring me as much joy as the Ranger.[expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] you SOE for ignoring the input our customers who enjoy your product has tried to convey to you and [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] you for ruining my fun....I hope to meet you all in the high branches of the trees - bow at the ready - when someday someone opens their eyes and puts rangers back where they need to be <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Until then I will be hacking away at the mobs with a swash or brig like Sony apperently want me to do.No matter what I will be a ranger at heart but I cannot and will not raid with a broken class<div></div>

wow thats some heavy melodrama right thar.i felt like that after LU21, i whined for a bit, then retired the ranger.. and took up another class.. problem solved.Then came the new betrayal.. REAL problem solved.you'll  live.<div></div>

For those of you who are not in the high end raiding game, keep in mind that playing a Ranger is still a perfectly fine way to have fun in this game. At least, IMHO. <span>:smileywink:</span><div></div>

Actually the KOS release was the darkest day.  But I'm not feeling very good about my Ranger anymore.  I figured SOE would eventually figure out the situation but I guess I was being optimistic.
