Because I havent seen them drop yet, and im not in deathtoll yet (doing it the honest way). If they drop, i'll put my name in for them because of the proc.. I dont care if I am reduced to cloth as long as there is resists/str/agil/int on the item if it has that proc on it.

I'm a soloer and I'm currently in all rare T5 leather. It's worked out really nicely for me. I'm soft and squishy and not getting hit has been better for my way of life than absorbing x amount of OMG That Hurt damage.

I'm wearing chain right now because  Nemisis Armor and the Relic armor are both chain. I got four pieces that I won't give up for a while. As far as the rest of my stuff, whatever I can get my hands on is what I'll wear <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

I don't care if my armor is leather or chain.  I look at what is a better upgrade for me, and I never consider mitigation of an item, unless I find that one in a million situation where I'm actually looking at 2 items with identical stats.  That's just me though.

<P>I'm running round with five different sets of armour on me, some of it chain, some of it leather. I chop and change depending on what I'm doing, where I am and what kind of group I'm in. Throughout my 30's, 40's and 50's, I wore the leather rare crafted as opposed to the chain, and never found myself dying because of it. Plus the rares were cheaper and I'm tight with my cash. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>At the moment, my optimal setup is mostly chain but with a few leather pieces for procs and / or stats. I'm not tanking, so a few less mitigation isn't going to be critical for me. I like the stifle proc on the Dark Sky Manacles (or whatever the heck they're called) so I wear those most of the time over any chain shoulders I've got. But since the proc doesn't work on epics, come a raid I'll switch to something more useful...</P>
