That stinks. Were you the only Ranger? Just curious because I still think a Raid without at least one is missing a LOT. My guild would NEVER do that no matter waht the target is. We have two Rangers that attend EVERY raid, and two others that attend when they can. Maybe you need to look for a new guild?<div></div>

Looking at the classes I'm not surprised they were chosen over a Ranger (where a guild uses a straight picking system) - all do equivalent or better DPS and all bring a lot more utility to a raid. 2 Brigands is very nice to have. Our guild pretty much takes sign up order unless an essential class signed up very late. With this system weve beaten all KoS instanced except the nightblood and cruor - often with 2 rangers in the raid. A smaller roster keeps the amount of people missing raids to a minimum. I'm not a big fan of the picking system - I guess it might be necessary though for guilds learning  the toughest encounters in the game or a guild with lots of members it could take that's still learning a zone or encounter. Whatever the reason, it's not much fun to be left out of raids <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Mirdo.   <div></div>

<P>That really sucks, sorry to hear it. FWIW, I got invited on a raid by total strangers last night b/c they needed more DPS, and ended up winning a relic piece. I don't get why the Mantle of the Vigilant has WIS of all things, but hey, I'm happy to wear it. </P> <P>There was a 67 ranger from their guild on the raid with us (the only other one) and he was sending me tells the whole time - "Do you use Stream that much or just autofire? Do you ever duck in for melee attacks or just stay at ranged?" etc. It was fun to be able to help, but not the best timing.</P> <P>Oh, and the 67 assassin that was with us topped the charts almost every time, beating me by a solid 150 DPS in most encounters. I was distracted by my g/f for the latter half of the raid, though. </P>

If that was all she was doing, I'd be fine.
