Ranger Bows

You'll have to forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere in a comprehensive form. But for those of you experienced, uber Rangers out there, is there a list or a link to one of the best Ranger bows, per tier? (Most likely starting with Tier 3.) Or if not the "best" bows (often subjective) maybe just a list of the top 3 bows per tier? This would include more than just fabled but also bows the non-raiding Ranger should be using. If I can get the information together I'll edit this post to update. <span>:robothappy:</span> Any thoughts?<div></div>

<P>Two bow list posts withing minutes of each other?  You guys must think alike!</P> <P>In any case, here are a few off the top of my head</P> <P>T2 - Gregors Old Bow, from Gregor in Eldar Grove</P> <P>T3 - One Eye Bow, quest from centaur in TS, near the western beach</P> <P>       Stormfire, from statue knight (starts with "V" i think) in first hallway of Stormhold.</P> <P>T4 - Bloodlet/Sureshot, from greenhood quest series. Shadow on the Zek docks</P> <P>T5 - I just went straight to an imbued cedar bow.   Valon bow is a nice fabled drop</P> <P>T6 - imbued Ironwood. Better then pretty much anything in the tier</P>

<DIV>For T5, your fabled choices are the Valen Bow (off contested epic mobs) or the Jungle Bow (out of Spirits of the Lost raid zone).  Your best bow for a non-raid reward would be the Soulsucker from Nektropos Castle the Return.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For T6:  AFAIK, the only non-crafted bow in all of T6 is the fabled Darkfury Longbow from the Courts of Al'Afaz raid zone.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For T7, there are a number of fairly easy to get treasured and legendary bows that drop off trivial encounters.</DIV>

<P>T7 non raiding dropped Splitscar bow in HoF</P> <P>T7 quested Grizzfazzle quest starts in Bonemire and Ghostly Bow in SoS  think claymore line or one of the other million side quests to do in there  (SoS questing /shudders)</P> <P>T7 raid dropped there are a few I have Wurm Destroyer (dropped in Labs) right now.  And I have more dkp then the other ranger and I'm saving them for DT drops or Oblivion's Edge cause I like Katanas (rotten bard had more points then me last time it dropped /grumble)</P> <P>T6 had imbued Ironwood</P> <P>T5 had Imbued Cedar</P> <P>T4 Sureshot quest bow stated above</P> <P>now things get fuzzy....</P> <P>I know I used Stormfire quested in Stormhold (before they changed the quest 4 days camping names FTL)</P> <P>I know I had an imbued Bone Longbow and I know I used Gregor's never used the bow the guy gave me for progressing from a pred to a ranger tho it sucked.</P> <P>Not sure when exactly i switched between gregor's/bone/stormfire but i know i was using the Sureshot from about lvl 33/35 ish until i got my imbued Cedar.</P>

<P>As previously mentioned, T5 bow of choice is the fabled Valian. Seen that drop off the prismatic drakota in Firemyst Gully. Otherwise it's imbued cedar. I was also lucky enough to get a T4 fabled bow, Longbow of the Warmaster, from Zek. I carried that little baby around with me for a long time, and it served me well.</P> <P>The only other good one was Stormfire for your early 30's. God that thing was a PITA to get. I lurked round Stormhold for what seemed like an eternity, long after everyone else in my guild had thrown in the towel...</P>

I could have SWORN I got a bow from some chick in Willow Wood. I had to kill hawks which was a pain with out the bow (bought a cheap one for the quest). Does that jar any memories?<div></div>

It was from fabled craftable drops in T5, I'm not sure if they still drop but I believe I got mine in the daily Antonica instance.<div></div>
