A good fix for ranger problems.... dps, Hawk Dive, Precise, raid utility, and gnomes

<DIV>My fellow rangers after much consideration and intense forum <STRIKE>trolling</STRIKE> reading I have developed the fix for 90% (still can’t think of a good fix for Stream or Triple) of our concerns.  If you will take just a moment to read my suggestion I'm pretty sure this will become the fix we need to push the Devs for.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><U><STRONG>Raid/Group Utility</STRONG>:</U>  We need a buff called "Gift of Fluids" that would target 1 group/raid friend* and place 1000 bottles of volitile fluid (see HoF) in their inventory/overflow slots.  These bottles would of course be No Trade/Value to prevent exploits.  Spell would be on a 30 minute recast timer.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>*The target would have to be one of the smaller races such as gnomes, halflings, rats, frogs or dwarves.  You'll understand please keep reading.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U>Fix Hawk Dive:</U></STRONG> This ability would then need to be changed from its current broken state of constantly breaking stealth in the following way.<BR>Hawk Dive:  Summons a hawk to the ranger that will transport one friend of the ranger to the target of the ranger’s choice.  Friend must be buffed with “Gift of Fluids” and must be a small enough race that a hawk could carry him/her.</DIV> <DIV><BR>Now what this would do is after you buff your gnomish (using gnomes as generic small race to ease typing) friend you would then cast Hawk Dive and the hawk would pick up the gnome and fly him/her over to the mob/encounter and hover there.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U>Fix Precise:</U></STRONG>  We have been complaining that the amount of damage of this CA does not justify the cost of 2 arrows.  Well this would fix this problem.  Once the Hawk is above the target with our gnomish friend it would stay there for 25 sec or until you fire Precise.  If you fire Precise the bird would see the flaming arrows get scared and drop the gnome into the path of the first arrow thus detonating any of the 1000 bottles our friend has not yet thrown at the mob.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This would result in roughly 100 - 200K encounter wipe instant damage of course it would be more if it crits.  Thus the reason the buff is on a 30 minute reuse timer.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>These suggestions would give us raid/group utility, make Hawk Dive and Precise more useful, and even encourage raid leaders to invite more gnomes to raid.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Of course there is still room for improvement.  Maybe something along the lines of using Bounty and make the 4 silver go to the gnome to offset repair costs instead of to us for arrow costs but they could patch that in later.<BR></DIV>
