<DIV>OK, I have a woodworker but he is not high enough to make me any arrows yet for level 70. I thought maybe I would see about supporting the crafters on Blackburrow and buy some of those instead of my usual 7 gold a stack at the vendor to top off for a raid.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So far so good. Well the few that did have arrows for sale (musta been a run on cobalt arrows btw) priced themselves right out of a sale. It would have cost me almost 25gold per stack to get adamantite arrows! Is the fuel cost that high? (cost was about 20 silver a arrow with broker fees). OH well back to the vendor.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If the autoattack and all the other crap was to have a side effect of helping crafters get a market then they missed the mark by not accounting for the "greed" of a crafter.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I believe on my server, they run for around 17silver each. So yah, around that is what we pay for them. Welcome to the wild world of rangers. Yes the fuel costs are really that bad. <div></div>

<P>A T7 stack is about 6.5g frmo the vendor. A guild woodworker said I might as well buy them from the vendor as he would have to charge me about that at cost. Then factor in the time and I don't think it's worth the effort to craft them - unless you have a very high play-time or need to grind some woodworker levels maybe.</P> <P>Mirdo.</P>

Yups, fuel costs are that bad for the number of arrows made, it's not crafter greed. <div></div>

<font size="2">Arrows are the least cost-effective items that a woodworker can make. I don't even make them for myself because it's cheaper to buy them from a vendor than to make them. Even if I can get the ingots free, it still is not worth it. You only get 25 arrows per final combine and there are I think 6 or 7 combines required before you can even get to the final combine.I will make them for guildies if they specifically request them, but that's the only time I'll even bother.</font><div></div>

<DIV>I knew what a PITA arrows were at least till level 40s woodworker which my alt is. I hoped with the easier t7 recipes that it would be cost effective to buy player crafted arrows. Apparently not! Thanks for the replies, happy hunting.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Two things, one there is a lack of rare arrow types in t7. And this MAY be changing for all tiers lu24. So everyone is SCRAMBLING to get inventories up (those that use rare arrows for raiding). Myself, I have 4200 cobalt, 2000 ebon, 1500 feysteel, 1250 steel arrows in my bank right now ( I am levelling an alt assassin and want him to have them as he works through the tiers).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But right now cobalt is the best arrow for autoattack. Nothing beats magic dmg. I really wish they did add a xegonite arrow recipe, but with the rumored arrow nerf coming who knows. So yeah stock up on the rare arrows while you can and vendor the common ones.</DIV>
