Newbie Ranger questions.

<div></div><p>Well depends on whether or not you solo alot.</p><p>For armour I'd go for stuff with good stats, str especially as it increases our damage output. Agility is supposed to boost our evasion but as Im always grouped it doesn't effect me too much as the tank will be doing that. Other than that lots of resists towards all the elements. Especially in PvP disease resistance is a lifesavers against those [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] necro's.</p><p> </p><p>Arrows: Well these are a big mystery as there are not stats to em. I went with Tin arrows all the way till level 24 where I could get the skill "Makeshift Arrows" which then summons a bunch of Carbonite arrows. Ever since I've been relying on those to keep me stocked. Right now I'm level 47 and using 36 arrows as I'm waiting for my next summon skill to popup. Supposedly it lowers my damage but I'm not gonna pay 25g for a stack of arrows when there are no official words on how much it increases damage.</p>

<div>As far as arrows go I agree with previous post - cheapest till you can "makeshift" them in your 20s.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Armor-wise, if you can afford it go with Pristine Imbued chain for chest & legs IMHO. If you can't, go with something that has the highest +STR & +INT. There has been a lot of discussion about this, AGI doesn't seem to help rangers as much as you would think. STR bonus lets you hit harder & INT help your poison more likely process. This is just MO. Also, call back home, and find the guy near the docks who is your races mentor.  Go through with their series of quests and you'll find yourself with a few new armor pieces, and maybe a couple other things as well.  And until level 20, i'd say go with mitigation over stats. <div></div>
