If you are using a proc weapon in main hand and prismatic in off hand, do you get the mana regen from the prismatic even though its in the off hand. I know off hand weapons dont proc so wasnt sure if effects count?

Yes you get the regen and also the proc. Weapon proc's go off if there in your primary or offhand. The change they made was to poison proc's only going off on your primary weapon.

You will get the regen (which isn't a proc), as well as your mainhand's proc. If you have the Prismatic in primary and Proc weapon in secondary, you STILL get both. However, Crychtonn is incorrect on his supplemental information:Poisons (as well as other applied effects that have a chance to proc on a successful attack) now only trigger upon successful attacks made with the weapon in the primary hand. Note: Weapons with an inherent damage proc (like all crafted imbued weapons) are unaffected and will continue to proc regardless of which hand they are equipped in.In other words, all procs were affected. Procs imbued on weapons will only fire on the weapon they were imbued on. Applied effects, including poison, only trigger with the primary weapon. Bows were not mentioned but is considered to be a primary weapon in this case.

OK so now I am confused. I always thought it was just poison that was affected by the proc change. So lets use some real world examples.

Weapons are listed in MH/OH

Prismatic/Imbued = Both weapons will proc?

Imbued/Prismatic = Both weapons will proc?

Foremans Shank/Imbued = Both weapons will proc

Imbued/Foremans Shank = Both weapons will proc

Is this correct? So, in reality, applied poison is the only "proc" that wont go off in the off hand.

My set -up is Forumdamins Fang (did not spell it right) which procs poison in the MH/ and then I swap imbued or Chitnin Blade. The chitnin blade procs damage against ravasects. Would this proc in the off hand?

Ok that is what I thought. Just wanted to make sure. So for all intents and purposes, the only applied proc, we as Rangers can use, is poison. The seed line is a very nice conjurer proc but not something we as Rangers can apply.

Easiest way for me to remember is like this. Everything procs off your primary hand. Your off hand only procs if the weapon in that slot has a proc. I use an Adamantine Dragonfang in my primary hand (piercer with no proc) and Dark Fury Sabre in my offhand (has it's own proc). I have a chance to proc regardless of which weapon hits now, plus I need the dagger in my primary for my poison aa to let me use it.
