Finally decided to take my lvl 60 ranger out in KoS, figured it would help not having the memories of what use to be so recent in my mind .I was curious on the new poisions. Can you still stack Debuffs and Dmg poisions? Is there a good link/resource for the new types, what they do, what stacks etc?One thing I did notice is my old Adestes stalk had dropped way off, I think it use to list in the mid 400s and last night I could have sworn it was examining at 250s. I thought the old poisions weren't going to change..Anyway,Thanks for any/all helpDrevva

At 17 int Adestes was still showing 422 damage, so I don't believe there is an issue there, other than maybe you misread it?The poisons still stack as far as %'s are concerned yes, so 1 damage, 1 debuff, 1 utility. http://www.eq2alchemy.com/teir7poison.htmlEQ2alchemy is probably your best source for the alchemic purpouses. I would like to note, that even tho the new poisons can stack up to 99 in a stack, it is by far not worth it. the damage poison by itself is 419 damage, no dot damage to it. The poisons come with only 100 procs, and cost on my server, roughly 1g or so to get. You pay 7 gold for Ravaging Disruption, you get 200 procs, intelligence bonus, and with 17 intelligence still do more damage. 320 + 50/4s. So no, i do not believe the T7 ones are worthwhile.

As a T7 alchemist and ranger I can anwser a few of your questions. The new poisons make it nice and easy to decide what stacks with what. There are 3 colors of poisons and one of each color can be active at a time. The poisons/potions stack up to 20 one charge vials, not 99, and there are good and bad in the new tier. DD potions no longer have any DoT element as a poster above mentioned so if you are using Adestes you will be better off using that than anything but the rare T7 poisons for damage. Int does NOT, I repeat NOT, effect the damage of T7 but it does effect the lower tiers so you could be getting added damage there as well. However the T7 debuff poisons are very nice. There is no longer any debuff for melee dmg type (slashing, piercing, crushing) but the elemental resist debuffs were combined so you can be debuffing your poisons at the same time as you are helping out your wizzy friend and other attacks such as our Sharp Shot.My set up isAdestes (because i stockpiled them)T7 utility poison that decreases attack spead (for raids)T7 debuff poison that reduces resistsplus my T7 potions

Message Edited by Kala Asuras on 03-10-200611:10 PM

Rijacki of EQ2Alchemy fame will be attending the Fan Faire. She would appreciate being briefed on problems with poisons (or potions), so that she can discuss them with the Devs and other folks from the community. If you have any valuable data to give her, please see this thread.
