Is it safe yet?

<div>Greetings Fellow Rangers.</div><div> </div><div>I've taken some time of from EQ2 to participate in a different type of game (BF2) and was just wondering if it was safe to come back to the Ranger forums again.  Things were getting pretty nasty here for a while.  I did finally purchase KoS, but I haven't installed it yet.  I haven't played EQ2 in several weeks (just prior to the LU20 nerf....er.....patch....yeah...patch!)  It seems like some of the hostility around here has dissipated some.  I've only checked out a few of the postings so far.  Just thought I'd poke my head out of my proverbial "bomb shelter" and see how things were going.  Any constructive feedback would be appreciated.</div>

<div></div><p>Sure. The changes Lockeye announced helped take the edge off. It's still more antagonistic here than it was a long time ago, but that's just the nature of things. It's not as bad as it was following LU20 though.</p><p>Personally I'm participating less myself, but it isn't b/c of nastiness. I'm just not as interested right now; I'm not playing my ranger very much lately, so most of these threads just don't grab my attention the way they used to.</p>

I think it's safer.  I have to agree that Lockeye's post has calmed us all down quite a bit.  The nerf did take the wind out of my sails though; I actually went so far as to cancel my account (billing was due to recur on March 1), in an impotent attempt to make my opinion known.Much happier now and it's much easier to read the forums and remain calm.WB<div></div>

<div>I think all the flavor rangers jumped ship and will probally go play a monk or other similar "power" class(Conjourer ect atm) (Monks rule BTW ok Dps + Taunt +Hps? Holy [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]). I been playing a eq ranger since before PoP came out for eq1. I have been through hell and back with this class. I am a master of ranged dps. Thats what i set out to be thats what i am. Mabey a wizzy has bigger nukes but guess what...those glass cannons wipe more raids then every ranger i know. With the changes on test comming in lu 21 any well played ranger will continue to own in  dps and if he dosent he is just playing the class wrong.</div>

I started a conjuror when my Ranger hit 60... he's 33 now, and I just started a Monk on the PVP server... According to what your saying... I'm on Runnyeye and we havent seen any of the changes Lockeye said he was going to implement. I'm down on dps in groups but still able to pump out some dps. Enough to warrant me getting pickups still. Still enjoy playing him in a grp.Soloing is still a different matter...in that we are way below par at the moment. I no longer solo my Ranger, I have plenty of alts for that. Nothing seems to work as before when I solo. Blue one downs are destroying me where before I was killing white and sometimes yellow no arrows in PoF no problem.I think the fundamental problem isnt poison or proc rates its parrying. My DPS is plummetting on a few of my alts through insane parry rates. Seen it on my SK and Guardian too.</span><div></div>
