<div> </div><div>I've asked this question in game and I usually get the following responses.. woodworking/jewelry/alchemy...</div><div> </div><div>Of course I want a trade that compliments my class, but I also want one that is a viable working trade.. </div><div> </div><div>woodworking..  from what I understand arrows would be the main benefit as a ranger, but doesn't do so well otherwise..</div><div> </div><div>jewelry..  this is where our adapts are.. but those we only buy once if I understand correctly. seems it has some useful items to sell...</div><div> </div><div>alchemy.. can  make potions and posions which could get everyday use.. not sure how good these sell or what else would be marketable..</div><div> </div><div>any insight?</div><div> </div><div>thanks much</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>

From my POV, it depends on wether you want to make stuff for yourself, or to sell.  If you are wanting to help yourself, I would go Alchy, if you want to sell stuff, I would go Alchy, or Jeweler, as they seem to make a bit of money at higher lvl, and you will be helping yourself at the same time...  Just my 2 cp<div></div>

<div></div><p>Dont forget the provisioner, good good and drinks are not for free, and thay have a viable market.</p><p>Id say alchy or provi is the way to go.</p>

<div></div><p>Agree with Provisioner or Alchemist. </p><p>Unless they fundamentally change how hard it is to make arrows, you won't bother .. even for yourself .. as a woodworker.</p><p>They're about to<a target="_blank" href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=general_tradeskill&message.id=88954&view=by_date_ascending&page=1"> fundamentally change (nerf) gear </a>.. even retroactively for T6 and down .. so it would be hard to recommend any class that makes jewelery, weapons or armor.</p><p>Between the two?  Tough call .. provisioner is definitely the easier of the two to level.  Will likely make you more coin if you're interested too.</p>

<div></div><p><font color="#ffffff"><font size="2">Jewelers are pretty spotty on useable items.<span>  </span>All crafted equipment like Jewelry and armor is pretty useless in T7. <span> </span>Even if you harvest for hours to find a rare or pay the 1 plat they sell the Jewelry you make from it is treasured tier and generally inferior to the stuff people are treating as vendor trash.<span>  </span>You can still find a market for Adepts if you build up a customer base. <span> </span></font></font></p><p><font size="2" color="#ffffff">Now that poisen demand has dropped, alchemists primary market is Fighter adepts IMO but they do make potions as well. <span> </span>Don’t underestimate the usefulness of potions.<span>  </span>The power and health regain potions are kind of lame but the stat and mitigation potions are nice and are often hard to find.</font></p><p><font size="2" color="#ffffff">Provisioners have one of the best markets right now, and drink is always in short supply so it’s a great route to go if you don’t already have one.<span>  </span>Unless you are spending crazy amounts on arrows this is where the money is.</font></p>

<div></div><div></div><div>I'm a jeweler and due to the change in the imbued rings, there isn't much of a market for us right now.  I'm making bupkis on the rings.  And, now that T6 adept1 abilities are selling for under 5 gold, no one buys App4s anymore.  I only craft to level these days.  I do get the odd request for an Adept3 once in awhile.  I never thought I'd miss the days of the spam tells for rings.  I was roleplaying just to hide the fact that I was a jeweler because of all the tells.  But now, nothing.  I'd go Alchy if I were you, poisons can get expensive if you have to buy them.</div><p>Edit:  Almost forgot.  You can't go wrong with provisioner either.  Always a use and market for food and drink.</p><p>Message Edited by Gareorn on <span class="date_text">03-02-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:17 AM</span></p>

<div>Hehe, funny. My zerker is my provisioner, too.</div><div> </div><div>At higher levels, you can make quite a bit being a provisioner. And it's not too hard to level. Plus everyone leaves the bushes in many places, so there's always a lot to harvest.</div>

<div></div>go alchy/jeweler/prov i agree... If your character's adventure level is goin to grow faster than your ts level, drop jeweler from the list.
