OK lets look at dps this way, If SOE was just fixing broken proc damage then rangers are exactly the way the devs intended us to be emplimented. So I suppose the "Working as Intended" tag should be put on rangers.

Somber thought but if you trust the information they have release then it is true.

They fixed a problem that was specific to a certain type of Ranger in certain type of situation, based on the new KoS content and, (dare I say it?), PvP.

In so doing they did not look at how their 'fix' would impact Rangers outside of those parameters. Blackguard has stated that NOW they are going back and doing that.

We will see what they find.

My problem is its the same people who developed it to work this way that are now going back to look at it. Really we are working now the way they wanted us to work. So how much do you really think they are going to change if this is how they intended us to be. I would say very little.

Of course, I always thought it was a lot of fun =DAnyway, from a player prespective, it sucks that we have to wait for new updates for fixes. But from a development standpoint, trying to predict fixes for fixes is likely not very productive.

There's been major shifts in core systems such that the leadership and/or the design philosophy has changed since launch. You can even see changes in art direction, as well as tradeskill itemization (in the tradeskill case, we know for a fact the dev has changed).

When did Blackguard say they were goin back to fix it? I must have missed that one... Only dev post ive seen on our pages was when Blackguard said he was gonna roll a ranger and try it out.... Letter from Scotty made me feel that things were being handled differently... (ie we are where they want us, but they'll let us know if they feel like changing us again)

any chance of a link on this one?
