Solo content at 60+? Please help

This is my plea to the ranger community.  Help a fellow ranger out.  I am lvl 60 with decent gear (click my sig to see the gear) that likes to solo.  Is there anyplace that I can do this in KoS?  I used to think of myself as a good player, but, when I got my butt handed to me in Maj'Dul by a lvl 53^ mob, it kinda made me do a double take.  I went to PoF and got 1 lvl 50 solo add while fighting 2 lvl 50 single down in group and got my butt kicked again.  I haven't logged my ranger since, as I have a hard time finding a good group, and am not in any form of raiding guild.  I am guilded, but, it's a family style guild and we rarely group together as a whole.  Can someone please help me out with finding decent solo content that I can do?  Or, just tell me I suck at playing a ranger and I'll be done with my beloved Taubin.  Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated. I was soloing at the portal to Barren Sky (the one from TT). There are some yellow v solo mobs that were easy enough. Also groups of vv and vvv that I had a DECENT chance of winning. You can also run to the guards there or zone if things get to hairy <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<div></div><p>I'd like to help you out but I'm afraid I can't.  I watched my uncle get his [Removed for Content] handed to him by a lvl 56 1up solo mob while he was playing his lvl 60 ranger.  He has full suit of legendary equipment, although no raid gear.  He had to evac with about 10% life left while the mob had well over 30% life.  I logged on my 58 monk and promptly kicked the dog poo poo out of the same mob.  I had over 50% life left when it died. </p><p>Not crying for a monk nerf cause it's the only thing I enjoy besides alchemy, but it's just sad what they did to ranger solo ability.</p>
