Having just reached my 44th season...I have a choise of master II to pick from and not sure which would give me the biggest bang for my buck...and last me the longest.Choices are so you don't have to go look:Hidden FireA deadly Ranged stealth attack that deals extreme damage and has a longer preparation time. Rangersmust be in stealth and have a bow equipped to perform this comabt art.target enemypower 112casting 3.0 secrecovery 0.5 secrecast 1 min 30 secResisability 31% harderweight 1.0lvl 40Effects: Inflicts 960-1600 ranged damage on targetTriple fireThree precise arrow attacks, with each successive arrow dealing additional damage. If one of these attacks misses, the successive ones will miss automatically.target enemypower 87casting 1.5 secrecovery 0.5 secrecast 1 minResisability 31% harderweight 1.0lvl 42Effects: Inflicts 102-170 ranged damage on targetInflicts 205-341 ranged damage on targetInflicts 307-512 ranged damage on targetBlazing thrustA quick attack that strikes with lightning, inflicting heat damagetarget enemypower 40casting 0.5 secrecovery 0.5 secrecast 10 secResisability 31% harderweight 1.0lvl 43Effects: Inflicts 198-330 heat damage on targetLeg ShotA ranged attack that slows target's movement on a successful hittarget enemypower 61casting 1.0 secrecovery 0.5 secrecast 10 secDuration 12.0 secResisability 31% harderweight 1.0lvl 44Effects: Inflicts 136-227 ranged damage on targetSLows target by 64%10% chance to dispel when target receives hostile action10% chance to dispel when target receives hostile actionI am torn between leg shot..and hidden shot, but not sure and do not understand why there is two listing of dispels on leg shot.Does this mean a 20% chance to dispel?any advice now after the changes to our class?I am not a ubar ranger, I solo more often than not, but would really like to bring something to the table when I do get to group.I do not have alot of adept III spells...for lack of finding someone who can make them.Giving this info incase that makes a differents on choice.<div></div>

<div></div><p>Prepatch it would have been triple arrow, now its stealthy fire... It completely depends on whether we are changed again, and if 2nd and 3rd arrows from same CA will proc again...</p><p>For my t5 master 2 i chose stealthy fire, and never regretted it.</p>

I'd go with Leg Shot.  In a group situation, the difference won't be noticed.  But soloing, you'll see a huge difference in the snare factor of a Master2 versus an Adept1.  And it'll probably buy you more damage potential than the Stealthy Fire upgrade would. When soloing I usually open with Stealthy Fire and the Leg Shot (I have Adept3).  That buys me time for a Triple Fire.  If I only used Stealthy Fire and then Triple Fire, some mobs reach me before I finish. Also, the recast time on Leg Shot is only 10 seconds.  So whether you need a snare or not, you can use it often for extra damage in a group situation.<div></div>

<div></div>This is why i wish they'd give us a respec .. Most rangers went with triple fire but right now it seems hidden fire is the better choice.

I went with triple shot, but would 100% go with hidden shot now.<div></div>

<div></div><p>Leg shot isnt a dmg CA at any level... t6 version does somethin like 250-350 at M1, while the stealth shot can hit up towards 3k at m2...</p>

<div></div><p>Hidden Fire all the way.</p><p>Even pre-LU20 I would have said Hidden Fire.  The point of Triple Shot was never the damage from the CA, but all the procs.</p>

<div></div>I personally went with the stealth shot meself, but the point  of triple would be that the 2nd and 3rd bow attacks almost never miss at higher skill levels... but again, i went with stealth shot and never regretted it.

I just hit 44 recently and took Hidden Fire. It's a fantastic opening shot, and nearly always does 1600+ damage for me. Following it up with Sharp Shot takes a nice chunk out of the mob's HPs.<div></div>

<div></div>I went with Triple Fire because that was the best damage pre-LU20.  I never used my lvl 50 respect, and I'm seriously considering it now.  I'm just going to wait a little longer to see if and how they decide to fix our class.  I'd hate to use the respec right before another change to our combat.
