<div></div><div><font color="#ccffff">I went over to the wizzy's forums today to see how badly they are gloating over the fact that they were given what they wanted on a silver platter, the Ranger nerf.  I thought it would be amusing to see them basking in the sun of the dev gods, but instead, this is what I'm seeing:</font></div><div> </div><div><hr></div><div>I'm just going to fill out the list. I'm disspointed beyond belief after having experienced it.<ul><li>Forge of Ro <font color="#ff0000">stealth</font> nerfed to about 1/5 the hitpoints it had before</li><li>Protoflame HP <font color="#ff0000">stealth</font> nerfed to ab obout 1/2 of what it were before</li><li>I used a bit of paper tonight to tot up the number of plate vs cloth items in chest drops, <font color="#ffff00">13:1</font> over 6 hours in same dungeon (other armour types ignored)</li><li>Illisionists already outdamage Wizards on raids and in groups (I'm deliberatley not talking about other magic users - they are better too). They can get 50% spell haste now. Wizards get a maximum of reduced casting time <font color="#ff0000">1.3%</font>. <b>ONE POINT THREE PERCENT????</b> Useless. Recast time reduction of 12% maximum - again, won't make much difference</li><li>Other lines are equally useless when we spend all our AA points on them. 1.5% additional change of a crit? 1.5%?? Useless. I won't even go in to the rest</li><li>Quest are geared toward mellee. I have done standard quests meant for everyone that give me wants that increase my mellee damage, attack speed etc.</li></ul>This expansion has just pushed it over the edge for me. I chose to play a cloth caster, but the people making this play mellees and couldn't care less whether someone playing a cloth caster has a good time.Why?Why not try and balance the thing out so that you have the rewards and the progressions equitable amongst classes? Why put 13 times more warrior drops in chests than Mage drops? I think it is simply lack of thought. <div></div><div></div><div></div><p><font color="#99ff99">well illusionists are out dpsing us and alot of other classes. at least an illu that knows how to play his toon to its fullest.and no, i dont think they need to change it, i just wish we werent so broken. i just got out of a 2 group AA run thru SotL for the namedand came out in the high 200s to low 300s for all fights. yes, behind zerker, illu, wiz, necro, ect ect ect....i'm runnin torment of rijakiwhich i have to apply about every 10 minutes because of the 4 proc only.(thats right, its taking upwards of 10 minutes of constant pulling and attacking to proc 4 times)well, at least each named gave me 4% of an AA level and it was kinda fun to go back in there even tho it was pretty depressing.</font></p><p><font color="#99ff99">oh, keep in mind that I am now a 62 and t7 and that SotL mobs are t5... so almost no misses or parries like i get against mobs in KoS.</font></p><p><span class="time_text"></span> </p><p>Message Edited by Dirtgirl on <span class="date_text">02-26-2006</span><span class="time_text">02:29 PM</span></p>

<div></div><p>Illusionists are fine.... Wizards and Rangers are broken...</p><p>seems to me that wizards, warlocks, assassins and rangers should all be the tops dps... It is interesting however to see that an illusionist and a bezerker come AWEFULLY close to out dpsing wizards and rangers...</p><p>Just doesnt seem right. If a tank can gear himself to sit in the middle of 15 yellow conned heroics and barely take damage, (Lookit the raid tanks on the server...Mine own is Uglak on Nek server...lookit the gear b4 u disagree) That a dps class should be able to gear himself to hit amazingly hard... and considering that i am a ranger in full fabled and legendary with all adept 3 + splls, i should not be outdps'ed by any class 2 levels below me in treasured gear with adepts.
