What is really wrong with rangers

 Before LU 20 rangers had the most positive, helpful, informational message boards.  Now every thread is a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]fest.  I understand, I played a ranger before LU13, I played a ranger before LU20, and I play a ranger now (3 different rangers btw, I am a compulsive reroller but I always come back to ranger).  What I would like to see happen now is for rangers to start analyzing the situation as it exists so we can play our class better, and by 'analyzing the situation as it exists now' I DON'T mean talking about how SOE f*cked us (despite the fact that they did royally, I agree) There are changes to the game mechanics that we have only mentioned in passing, like the new AA system.  Why don't we have a full list of the tree along with commentary and suggestions, calculations and review?  Other class boards have this, in the past rangers would have been all over it.  I want more information about how the game works now and what choices I should be making as I advance, telling me about what I've lost isn't any real use to me.<div></div>

I don't know what is wrong with SOME rangers, but I for one do NOT think that rangers are "broken". I think that they are FUN to play.I am working on a post that will list and analyse the Ranger's new AA tree. I should have it done in the next day or two, please look for it.Thanks,<div></div>

<div>Regardless of what some positive rangers have to say the class is broken, rangers are being out DPS'd by fighter classes for gods sake, we can no only do 1/3 rd of the dmg we used to be able to do and we certainly are not Tier 1 anymore. so yes we are broken and the class is crap to play now as barely anything is soloable as mobs now close in fast, and we have crap for melee CAs.</div><div> </div><div>Leoric</div><div>Level 60 ([Removed for Content]) ranger</div>

<div></div><p>danean no offence .. but your a lvl 56 rangers... and not fighting the new KOS content .. and seeing every class your suppost to out dps ... hang with you in dps or pass you in dps...</p><p> </p><p>i am lvl 62 now .. and things are getting easier for me sure... but i happen to have alot of help from my guild and friends .. not all rangers are so lucky... or going to get that help... do i have the solo content down in the TT zone in area... sure but it is lvl 57 and 56 .. blue... and i am 6 lvls higher than it .. i should not have to lead with sniper... and use every stun i have to own it like i did before by just truning on auto attack... it is bloody 6 lvls lower than me..</p><p> </p><p>karvar</p>

None taken Karvar, so please do not take offense with me but I OWN the level 56 and 57 mobs in TT and I am doing it at 56. It takes me less than 60 seconds to kill ANY of the level 56 or 57 NO ARROW mobs in the "entrance" area to TT. I have NO problems with them whatsoever at all. On the other hand I am using EVERY SINGLE CA I have almost every single fight. I am having a blast. My ONLY real problem is that sometimes the lag in TT is so bad that it is a full 5 seconds (YES FIVE SECONDS) between the time I click on a CA and it STARTS to cast. On those occasions I leave TT for zones that have less lag as it is the LAG (and not my "broken" ranger) that can't handle the mobs.<div></div>

I actually read on that said a ranger was complaining that an even conned solo mob got him to 75% health... i at least missed that post...
