Hi all,I'm a newbie on EQ2, and am looking for some advice. I have recently come into a little gold (20), and as a level 10 Ranger, I would be grateful for any suggestions as to what I should purchase with it.I don't know the sort of things that would help at my level, nor do I have a feel for the economy, having just come from EQ, where 20gp was nothing to even a level five player. I understand that it will go a little further in EQ2, so I'm hoping I can get something worthwhile. Thanks for your time.DF

try and max your str and agi, str first though, never really have power problems as a ranger. Any items you can get with procs help also (imbued etc) though arent as effective as they once were. A shield is handy for soloing/kiting but not much place in a group unless it has a ton of str on it. I love armor with the heal imbue proc, saved me more times than I can count. Whats your character/server? Will link you some of the bows I have used "over the years" so to speak.

Avendolas

62-Ranger, Valor

Imbued pants are a complete no-no for anyone that isnt a tank. You will be killed much more often while attempting to run away from mobs than they will help, as they engage encounters for you... not my personal favorite thing.

Imbued everything else? Ooooh yah.

Stylee Mc'Cutta 62 ranga Nek

Message Edited by Steezity on 02-28-200606:49 PM
