Help from the community is greatly appreciated in keeping the peace on the forums. If you click on the "Report Abuse to a Moderator" link on a post/thread you feel is violating the Forum Rules of Conduct, we'll certainly take a look. :smileyhappy:

I don't mind Coyote. There are a lot worse posts in here than Coyote's recently. And at least Coyote can be pretty funny. The others are just annoying.

Yup, so far looks like the threads only get locked after the other posters get their flames in but before the Rangers can get theirs in. Well in less than a week I won't have to worry about this any more, my account will now expire on 3/1/06.

Let's leave other poster's names out of the discussion please. I'd rather not close this thread too for personal attacks. :smileyhappy:We understand there is a lot of frustration within the Ranger community and we're reluctant to go on a post locking spree as that tends to just make people angrier. The constructive threads and data you all are posting here in this forum do help a lot and are appreciated. :smileyhappy:

You should do the recurring payment option, that way you won't have to worry about your account lapsing.

kc10boomer wrote:

Yup, so far looks like the threads only get locked after the other posters get their flames in but before the Rangers can get theirs in.

I was on the on that payment option, but have since cancelled. Between the lag fest that is the game, the hard to harvest nodes, and the nerf. I figure with all the "growth" that caused the server merge SoE doesn't need my money any more.

Lvl 60 Ranger (Lavastorm) Nek soon to be retired.

The thing is, despite the fact that they were nerfed, illusionists and templars are still both money, and can handle the full extent of their duty... at least i know that my 56 templar is much more helpful to groups now than my 62 ranger...

Therefore its not a copyright infringement

Men in Black (MiB) was a SOny PIctures release. I would imagine any copyright issues would be handled through the mere fact that the same parent corporation holds the Copyright/trademark.

http://www.sonypictures.com/homevideo/meninblackii/

Men In Black 2 (your link) was sony release of a Columbia film as was MiB. Just because a very different division released a movie which was liscenced does in no way suggest inherent permission to use the materials in a very different venture.

Also it is the blatant copying of the image MiB that is an infringment.

It just urks me that those who profess to enforce the rules, don't seem to feel the need to follow them.

Message Edited by FiftyK on 02-27-200602:17 PM

Jay, i have definately been on the boards for twice the time ive been playin the game since the nerf...

a bit of a fairweather fan really, but not like i play any other classes more... Its just not as fun anymore. Tanks expecting us to be able to dps the group out of a bad situation keep wiping us, i cant talk without being accused of whining, even if its just to say that there is a name up in the next room.... I have to sit there and listen to the rangers who really ARE whining all the time... sometimes about 4 and 5 at once... All in all, i feel like a bad player now, and i just dont like playing games that i cant be good at. When i was a t6 ranger, there wasnt a whole lotta room to move up...(dont have godking or terror dualies, or the darkfury bow, and a few more masters never hurt)

And the fact of the matter is, if i cant make myself into a [Removed for Content], im not going to spend the time trying to do it. Pure and simple.

Here is my slippery slope situation...

I raid 6 nights a week, often 4/5 hours a night. In order to remain active in guild, this is a requirement. I am a raider, its why i play the game. If i cant get into those raids, or i feel that i am doin next to nothing, 6 nights a week starts to drop a ton. After a while of this, guild either gets sick of having the 6 superfluous rangers, or i do, and we break...After i realize that without said guild and friends i can accomplish literally nothin, i quit game entirely and buy Vanguard. Hope to god they have a playable ranger type class.
