<div></div>Manager: Ok we are here today to discuss how to bring rangers back into line. We all know that they are doing too much damage even the rangers understand this. It is time we fixed this.Manager: Options people!Game Mechanic 1: We can lower proc chancesManager: Wont this affect other classes too.Game Mechanic 1: Yes but rangers do a bit more damage via procs than other classes so it will affect them moreManager: Anyone know how much damage they do via procsGame Mechanic 1: /shrug - maybe twice as much.Game Mechanic 2: Rangers have CAs that hit multiple mobs we can reduce the effectiveness by only allowing a proc off the first one... hmm that would mean the arrows are not shot from the same bow and they didn't poison the arrows on the 2nd or 3rd hit in the CA - ahh well doesn't have to be logical this is a fantasy world.Game Mechanic 3: We can reduce the effectiveness of their mob management they do their damage at range if the mobs are in melee range they will do less damage.
