SOE now encouraging kiting?

<div>A lot of the constructive posts regarding the latest changes include new strategies that some Rangers are now using to adapt to the changes in the Ranger class.  Many of the adapted strategies now include kiting. </div><div> </div><div>Historically SOE has very much not liked the concept of kiting.  It seems a bit ironic that SOE has now hit Rangers with changes so severe that it pretty much requires kiting to succesfully solo.</div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div></div>SOE has been strongly against kiting since before EQ2. I'd like to know what options they think the Ranger currently has currently apart from kiting.

pff - as a 25 level Ranger who is just bought the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] game a month ago I can tell you that kiting got harder after the update.I used to kite Kodiak bears occasionally in TS when I got stuck in fights with low health.  Tried that again last night and the bear hit me with a knockdown blow from 15 feet away!  Not to mention since everything runs faster my Back Shot doesn't combine with any other CA half the time anymore because the creatures pounding on me before I can get it off.<div></div>
