<div></div><div>While it is wrong that you struggled so horribly with a mob that other players were able to take and be at 50% capacity, I'm not sure that your implied expectation expressed through shock that a templar should have a harder time soloing than a Ranger is valid.</div><div> </div><div>And I'm sure that dirges would take exception to your expectation that you should perform better than them solo.</div><div> </div><div>You're broken and need fixed, but quit looking down on other classes. You'll only [Removed for Content] them off and alienate them.</div>

<div>I have a lvl 50 Templar</div><div>I have a lvl 25 Dirge</div><div> </div><div>I know how they fight ..the fact that a Templar just solo'd a mob that killed me should not happen </div><div>unless you feel i shold start healing.</div><div> </div><div>A dirge is not in the same tier of dps, and to have him kill the mob faster that i can ..yes thats a problem.</div><div>dirge have a dps buff, the disease proc buff, and good debuff spells which should allow him to die slower than me ..not kill faster !!!!</div><div> </div><div> </div>

I've had some successes today but it all seems just a little too random to me. Killing the bloom jobbies in Tenebrous Tangle I'd kill one and barely get scratched then get into the red on the next guy. Attacking blue con one up-arrowed mobs I killed them with about 50% health left. Managed a group of yellow con one-downs too without dying.However its getting to be hard to keep up with the guys I was seeing around me. I had Necros basically filing their nails while the pet killed off mobs I was having trouble with. In other cases I was seeing Guardians and Berserkers getting badly mauled and taking forever to kill mobs too.I think results are a little skewed in KoS since there are very few or no single monsters that are one-down arrow. Only solo mobs I've seen have been no arrow or one-up arrow mobs. Cheap Shot being the way it is means its pretty much useless against the one-ups so thats a large slice of world population that is made harder to us more than some other classes and thus KoS has been made "ranger hostile", like the cramped places in EQ2 such as Stormhold where theres no room to fire the bow.Improving mob run speeds and taking away one of our shoot-and-run CA's along with the proc changes has made things is KoS difficult to say the least. One bonus however seems to be the general lack of see invis mobs. Another bonus is expensive poisons will take much longer to wear off so its probably going to be worth spending a decent amount of cash on poisons now. I always bought the store stocked ones because handcrafted were always far too expensive since they ran out so fast.There's no real getting away from the fact that we have been broadsided but I guess like all the classes hit with the nerf bat in time, we just have to live with it. Wonder who is next in the firing line?<div></div>

Dirge has .. i think 11 Conc-Buffs to choose from to benefit the party ... Ranger has nothing .. so it can't be right that a Ranger kills slower then a Dirge. Even if i would like to see my Dirge kill as fast as my Ranger before LU#20 :smileyvery-happy:</p><p>Templar is another story .. they can kill maybe higher mobs .. but it takes months or years <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

You outlast the mob by taking less damage, healing, and dealing low damage. Rangers rely on being able to frontload a lot of damage quickly so we can finish it off with relatively low damage melee before we die or have to run/evac. Unfortunately, we can no longer frontload damage. (Except for one shot every 15 minutes.)</p><p>You solo slower, but with a much greater margin of error.</p>

I'm personally a mediocre solo player - mainly becasue I have never had to solo often. As such I wouldn't rate my own opinion on our solo ability now as valid of useful. I think my opinion of group ability and basic T6 raids would be close to the mark though.</div><div> </div><div>It might never happen but all classes should be able to solo roughly equal content. Due to the game design it might take some classes longer - is this unfair - yes. The only way I can ever see them effectively balancing solo vs group vs raid ability is to have classes of abilities that work against different classes of targets - and I don't think we'll see an MMO built like that anytime soon.</div><div> </div><div>Mirdo.</div><div> </div>

Well actually I dont mind rangers soloing faster or better than me to be honest. I think a templar has the edge in "group/raid desirability" and wouldnt expect to be top of the tree in soloing <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Just get irked sometimes when people say stuff like "My god I coulnt even beat a templar in a duel!".
