<div>My experience in the first night of LU20 was so disappointing. I have a pretty well equipped ranger. All adept III's, a few masters, 6 fabled gear items and the remaining legendary using T6 legendary poisons. I was grouped last night in a dungeon in KOS (forget which one now) with a guardian, paladin, templar, fury and a swashbuckler for over 3 hours. The swashbuckler and I were running the Advanced Combat Tracker and he beat my DPS in 5 out of every 7 fights. I had to have both of my AOE's and/or Sniper's Shot available to beat him.</div><div> </div><div>I was consistently getting about 21-27% of my damage from procs, so I don't think that was the issue. The mobs we were fighting were mostly level 62 and 63 with a few 64 mobs thrown in. My main observation of the night was the for some reason the bow combat arts seem to be missing way too often compared with the swashie's melee skills. If he and I had been hitting the mob with the same consistency, I would have won most of the DPS races. However, at no time, should I lose a DPS race to a swashie if I am able to fight at range. I am supposed to be tier 1 DPS, he isn't. This needs addressing ASAP.</div><div> </div><div>My ranger is the only character I have above 25. I don't really want to start over but we are back to the days when there was no reason to invite a ranger into a group if any other class is available. I haven't attempted a raid yet so I will be interested to see what happens in a longer fight. However, for normal groups, the ranger is pretty lame right now.</div><div> </div><div>One additional annoying game concept. Bounty! It only works if you kill the mob. Before this update, with the group we had last night, I would have the killing shot 4 out of 6 mobs. Last night, I was only able to get the killing shot off on about 1 of 6 mobs, and this took planning. STUPID concept!!</div><div> </div><div>Fredethel</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>
