<div><font size="3">We all know how bad it is now.  We've all had time to play and were all hurting.  Personally im so upset I want to cry.  I'm an old school ranger, not one of the new crop (not that there is anything bad about them **grin**)  so Ive played through the lows ( pre LU-13)  and the highs.  Im not going to abandon Liviya.  I still love her.  </font></div><div><font size="3"></font> </div><div><font size="3">So now the question becomes, how can we increase our proc rate.  Is it still based on Int?  Would jacking my Int up a hundred points help?  I'll wear cloth armor if that is what it will take.  </font></div><div><font size="3"></font> </div><div><font size="3">Or does anyone have any suggestions on increasing our DPS?  ( no flames or rants please.  constructive help is what we need right now )</font></div>

<div></div>not lookin good.. int increases proc damage, not rate afaik.  If we squeeze into cloth armor to try and compensate, we're just letting them win.  That means we're casters without the dps, the buffs, the roots, the pets =p

<div>I don't think you can.  since it's based on fixed game mechanics that we can't influence, ie CA time or delay time.  Int just increases the dmg on the procs when it does proc.</div><div> </div><div>I'm glad I went the str route.</div><div> </div><div>tobi 44 ranger</div>

<div></div>Well, switching to a shortbow won't increase your proc rate, but there's less reason to go longbow now that weapon delay is not a factor in calculating proc chance. Though autoattacking will probably still favor a longbow for proc frequency, so I guess it depends on how you play, and what choices favor your usual tactics.
