First let me say, that I haven't played since the update. The reports here really makes me nervous as to how my main, a lvl 48 ranger, will do once I log in later today.I like to solve quests by myself and my time is perhaps 50% solo and 50% in groups. I now fear that I will not be able to solo any more. That is, at least until I reach lvl 60, because when I do, everything will be allright, according to Blackguard...This quote from him: "One of our APs has a 60 Ranger on Live, and we had him copied over and tested thoroughly. While his DPS dropped, he was still the top DPS or second in every encounter he used Poisons. In encounters he did not use them, he was still in the top 4. We also examined the DPS graphs in-depth, and they appeared very high, if not at the top, of the list in almost all situations.", really has gotten me nervous. If they base the changes on how a lvl 60 ranger compares in a group, then what about all the rangers that isn't lvl 60 and isn't in a group?Seems like pretty bad testing to make a change like this and only test it on lvl 60 in a group?*Sigh* Well, only time will tell, but a quote like that is really not giving me confidence in SOE's testing abilities. Especially when people from beta has been screaming about problems with rangers, and SOE apparently didn't feel it necessary to see for themselves if they were right.

Yup,I had a sinking feeling from their comments they were completely ignoring solo play. Also if a ranger is in a group, and a bunch of other classes cast procs, dps increased buffs, haste etc.. the additional dmg isn't the rangers it is those that buffed them. And if they count that as the rangers dmg and with all those buffs and procs he makes it T1 , he certainly won't be when he is on his own.Don't get me started about having to buy arrows and poisons to have substandard dmg Drevva
