<div>I'm positive we rangers did NOT get hit with the nerf bat.  We got hit by a logging truck loaded with nerf trees.</div><div> </div><div>My 60 ranger grouped with a 60 paladin to kill some fugly dryeye things.  We took on one lvl 63 at the same time a solo 60 fury pulled the same type of mob AND an add.  The fury had one down before we had ours down, and was working on the second...his power and health both over 80%.  We stood in rapt amazement as the fury finished off the add and moved on.  It was at that point we left KoS and returned to Willow Wood, thinking that maybe a fury would be a good class to play.</div><div> </div><div>We rangers pay for poisons and arrows and bring nothing to a group how except...pathfinding.  Which is good if you're moving TO someplace (unless, of course, everyone in the group has a horse or a carpet, which of course, they do), because even that suspends during combat.  We've been nerfed to hell and back, so our solo ability is useless...what can we possibly provide to a group?  Oh yeah!  Tracking!  Please, SOE, don't bother to fix all the nerfing you've done.  Instead, it would be much easier to change the name of the class to Tracker...that would at least reflect what we are now best at doing.</div><div> </div><div>Poisons:  147pp</div><div>Arrows: 339pp</div><div>Being able to find a named mob for the rest of the group to kill:  Priceless.</div>

<div></div><p>I can't even classify a ranger in eq2 anymore...  not dps... not utility...</p><p>perhaps the mobs did not have a healthy diet before LU20 and now rangers are thier staple food?</p><p>Soloing I avrged a whopping 110 dps at level 49.  That is fighting level 45 single up and down arrows.</p>
