Back to STR being our stat for DPS again I expect ?

I was all set to try to go all out for INT in the expansion, and being an Ogre that was gonna be a feat.. lol.I guess i will stick with my STR template now as it will help with DPS from CA's.Anyone else got thoughts on this ?  Is INT not such a factor now ?<div></div>

From what I've heard, the new poisons are not affected by int.  Combine that with our procs being a much smaller portion of our damage, and INT is no longer worth focusing on.I've also heard we're eat power like richard simmons eats ___ so AGI might be worth pushing towards the cap now after STR.<div></div>

<div></div><p>I too am trying to calculate DPS models for gear.  Since a larger portion of our damage will now be from the bow it makes sense STR will be primary stat but cannot verify without parses.  INT has always been a consideration of gear choices till now.  Sad I have aquired some pretty nice INT gear :smileymad:</p><p>I wonder the effects on say long delay bows VS low delay bows and how that effects DPS will be discussed as well.  Including now high DOT poisons may be better than High DD in certain situations.</p><p>Weopon Haste may actually be a viable option now?</p>

I've seen a lot of people suggest that haste/DPS doesn't affect our bow.  Maybe our personal buffs aren't very good, but that had a lot more to do with the 5 minute recast / short durations on them. Haste definitely affects our bow.  FBSS only speeds it up a little bit, but once other classes' buffs start stacking on top of it and Veil, our bow fires noticeably faster.  Just remember you have to hit 100 haste to double the speed of your bow.DPS also works, and can easily be tested.  Inspect yourself and hover over your weapons pre-buffing with your instinct line, then re-inspect and hover after you cast Instinct.  The damage listed will go up and you will hit harder with autoattack.<div></div>
