<div>If things are as tough for you as the boards predict with the nerf to our DPS I was thinking here are some ideas on what to do till we get fixed or things change.</div><div> </div><div>1. Quest, quest , quest . Our refresh timers on abilities with good dps and use, SoA, Trap, Sniper, mean we can still achieve decent bursts, but just too slow. Instead of finding a highly popluated solo area and wreaking havoc, find solo quests and repeatabale kill quests where we have to track down specific mobs to kill. Stealth, track, trap, kill, loot, return to quest giver and turn in, gives time for our very usefull skills to refresh and hopefully the quest exp will compensate for fewer kills and maybe give us a little AA exp. News from beta the overland zones are LOADED with solo moibs and solo quests.</div><div> </div><div>Side note</div><div>I got 3 levels on an alt brigand in one day this weekend questing in DoF (bonus exp helped) and nice thing is, my vitality while low rarely was ever completely gone as travel time between quest givers and back to turn in kept it revitalizing (what every 15 minutes)</div><div> </div><div>2. Harvest</div><div> </div><div>The new tradeskill system is going to rely heavily on raw m,aterial harvested from KoS and I have heard to discourage bots most nodes will have mobs within striking distance so as you wait for skills to refresh harvest those nodes, an alchemsit buddy will be nice to have so get them roots and metals. Rares will be ungodly valuable also ...</div><div> </div><div>3. Discovery Exp</div><div> </div><div>Go far and deep ! Sure things are going to see thru invis and we may die, but no shards, and level 70 area dicovery exp at 60 wll be nice, also discovery exp will go towards AA exp so grab it while its worth more. This is a one time only but if we are given a quick fixx gives us a lil time for them to fix us.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>4. Find another Ranger</div><div> </div><div>Two rangers bouncing aggro back and forth and switching between off/def stance can be fun, did it in LT/SC a couple times and it was fun, dangerous, and can work. Maybe we can all try this out.</div><div> </div><div>5. Feedback<div> </div><div>If things are as bad as we expect just type /feedback and send a polite and inteligent post to SoE about the need to fix us. I ll do once a day, then once an hours etc .... till things get fixed</div><div> </div><div>6. Look for Arctics on Befallen</div><div> </div><div>I dual box a Mystic and Ranger and often have a Fury bud in tow. Iif things are really bad, those who are dedicated rangers for the long haul regardless of what they do to our class, find me and we will get thru this !</div><div> </div></div><div> </div>
