Calm down .. seriously guys i see a whole bunch of whining, mostly from the fair weather rangers. whining isnt going to change anything. anyone not seeing thing coming for a while is pretty blind. Just ride it out, be calm, be FACTUAL in your writings, and above all stick to being the better class. We got by pre LU13 when we sucked, we had our day in the sun and now were being ballanced. Over ballanced?.. sure .. but all this infighting and arguing isnt how were going to be fixed. So just chill out guys.. its gonna work out. Lets see how it goes and play it by ear. In the end we are still Rangers and will still be able to do what we do best, raid down death from afar.

And those players who have a long term history of SOE know you could be saying the exact same thing come Christmas. While I don't play a Ranger in EQ2 I was playing a Ranger when Kunark came out in EQ1... they butchered the class, completely gutting it. The Ranger class remained (literally) a standing joke for a year... that's where the tongue in cheek comment "Ranger down!" comes from. It took a whole year of unanimous opinion that Rangers were so badly broken it was laughable readily agreed among all classes before SOE did anything... do not assume it will all come good if just left alone.

Good luck to you chaps, and I hope you get sorted sooner rather than later. Many many years of experience with SOE tell me however you should not follow the OPs advice as it simply doesn't work with SOE. If you remain calm and collected SOE wont even notice you're there. My personal opinion is that should your worst fears come true tomorrow you need to kick up the largest [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]-storm you can and sustain it. It is again my own personal opinion that this is the only thing SOE will respond to in a timely fashion (if at all).

In may not turn out so bad. SOE may back off a bit as they finally release LU20. They may respond quickly to issues.... they may not. And they might not ever.

Good luck. You have my best wishes.

Yes rangers, calm down. And while you're calm, go back and scour these forums for how many things were actually fixed because people were staying calm. Once you serenely tally up those numbers, get back with us and decide whether or not you'd still like to be calm. Remember, SHH!! After all, you wouldn't wanna give the guys knocking you down to tier 3 DPS a headache or something. Those poor souls.....

You see eq2 now? That is the result of whining. Whining because interdependancy made ts too hard POOF no more interdependancy. Whining about shared debt POOF no debt. Whining about shards.. POOF... you get the idea.

you cry hard enough, theyll fix it for ya.. or what they call fixin it, its the soe way!

OP is dead wrong. If you must continue playing this game and you don't like the way things are, the law of MMO's does apply:The squeaky wheel gets the grease.SQUEAL LIKE A PIG!SUUUEEEEEEEE!
