PVP has killed the ranger class, discuss

LOL I just logged into beta and found that SoE have now nerfed one of the two skills that rangers could use to kite.Debilitating arrow cannot now be used on the run, there's no reason yet again for this change other than PvP balance.I just noticed that some crusader CA's that could be cast on the run have also been nerfed.I still firmly believe that proc changes were all about PvP balance than anything else.I've lost all faith in SoE's claims that PvP will not crossover into the PvE aspects of this game.

<div></div><div></div><p>gonna start off by saying ive played DaoC from start always pvp'in and i still do and my god eq2 is gonna feel the hard brutal pain of "pvp balancing" now, theres gonna be nerf whine's and cry's til the game is so messed up no one really knows how to resolve things, chasing balance too hard always ends up being totaly unbalanced and messed up alot of grief nerfing characters you have invested years of /played time on making them worthless from one week to another</p><p> </p><p>this was and is the same for L2,WoW etc. cant have pvp and not get this [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] in the trunk, thats why i liked eq2 no pvp to mess classes up, what you rolled stayed that way and you knew what to expect and you didnt waste thousands of hours only to get royally screwed in the end</p><p> </p><p>now its all over mark my words and remember i said this and feel free to quote me, this is only the start of a whine and nerf war to the end of all subscriptions, there is NO MMO (rpg) that has pulled it off and i so doubt SoE will be the first (if this happens ill happily pay everyone's subscription for the next 2 years)</p><p> </p><p>vanguard coming up nicely tho, time to turn the hope elsewhere, lotr online seems to be pretty interesting also, not to mention warhammer by mythic if they pull their [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] together, the future holds much fun stuff</p><p>Message Edited by mighty_fc on <span class="date_text">02-20-2006</span><span class="time_text">09:47 AM</span></p>
