Fabled Bows

<div>My ranger is level 45, and one thing I would like to get for him is a fabled bow that he can use for a few levels at least. However, for some reason there hasn't been many fabled bows listed on the broker on my server, and anyway I only have about 1.5 plat on that character, and I would guess a good fabled bow would be 2 plat or more. So, the question is, if one were to hunt for a fabled bow, what are the options? Are there any solo mobs that drop a good fabled bow? What about heroic ones? Finally I would resort to raiding if need be but as most raids I have been on usually have 6-8 people who would roll for a bow, I am thinking my chances of getting one in a raid is very slim.</div>

<div></div><p>Well at your level there is one fabled bow worth mentioning - the Valian Bow. It has a 12% poison proc. You will not find this bow on the broker. if you did it would 20pp +. This is the best bow in the game even at T6. You have to get this bow from X4 raids and hope it drops. I beleive the drop for it is off one of the Deception Raids for the prizzy or drops from the Meeting of the Minds raid in Feerrott. Unless you ahve a guild that can take on these raids on a consistent basis to hope for the drop, your best bet is to get an Imbued Cedar Bow which will cost around 1.5pp. depending on how much cedar is going for on your server. Then in T6 get an imbued ironwood bow. There are no fabled bows worth mentioning because the ones that are out there do not have a proc except the Valian. Which, as I stated above, is very hard to get.</p><p>Elbryan60 Ranger</p>

<div></div>I am going to have to convince my guild to raid Vox more often lolz. Sadly I am one out of a dozen scout classes in my guild, and I am sure every one of them will want to roll for that bow, so if you multiply % chance to drop with 1/12 (my chance to win the bow), I might never end up with it ever.

<div></div><p>Well the one consoling factor you do have is that you will get arguments from different rangers as too whether the T6 Imbued Ironwood is better than Valian. There are rangers on either side of that debate both with the parses to back it up. Go figure?! So, in the end, you can probably not go wrong with either one. Especially now that they are nerfing the proc rate for us. The Valian was great because its 12% proc rate worked out to be a proc rate of 50% or something ridiculous becauise of the delay on longbows. Now that this is being fixed the Valian bow might fall back in line with the legendary imbued bows.</p><p> </p><p>Elbryan60 Ranger</p><p> </p>
