Hello to answer your questions:1. One application of poison will be fine.....though you can mix a poison with a nasty debuff to increase the damage. Not sure what they would be called at that level =(2. Iron arrows will be fine sometime in your 20's you will get a skill to make arrows for yourself for free called "Makeshift Carbonite Arrows" you might want to check out the skills page to see about that.Happy HuntingOokie Monster60 RangerThe Black ForgeOasis

One application of poison affects any weapons you use. The poison isn't really attached to any weapon as far as the game is concerned; it's just a spell cast on you that has a chance to activate when you attack. (Note, though, that due to a recent change, your offhand weapon can't activate poison.)

You can apply a few different poisons at a time, as long as they're different categories (damage, debuff, miscellaneous). But that's entirely optional and has nothing to do with which weapons you're using.

2. (At the higher levels, they're the main source of your damage, and ranged autoattack contributes little. I'm not sure about what it's like at 17 these days though.)Arrow level does - or at least used to - affect your ranged autoattack damage. For most rangers this isn't a big deal, so don't go broke buying arrows. I'm not clear whether all arrows being level 1 is intentional or not, or what it means for archery in general.

Thank you for the quick replies. This has confirmed by overall beliefs so far except that I didn't even know about applying the additional defuff and such. Thanks again as this has now set my mind at ease.

The latter - you apply poison to *yourself,* not to any specific weapon. As long as that poison is active (think of as a buff), all your weapons have a chance to proc it. Except your off-hand melee weapon if you're dual-wielding. So you only apply it once.

2. Arrow 'tier' only affects autoattack damage, not combat art damage. So don't worry about it too much. For the majority of your career, you'll use summoned arrows anyway. (I still do at 60, save for special slashing or crushing damage arrows on certain raids.)
