<div></div><p>Get a troubador in your group. WIll not pull aggro if ya have one, and if no troub available get assauge from a guardian or amends from a pally. Than from there you can use all bow CA's than stream of arrows, rinse repeat and parse your 1200 - 1600 DPS :0)</p><p>LeoricLevel 60 ranger</p>

<div></div><div></div><p>Yes, the Troubadour in your group helps.  Assuage and Amends are good as well.  Also make sure you have Improved Surveil at Adept 3, as you can use it as a ranged hate reducer, also it's a faster way to get into stealth for sniper shot and your Hidden RA.</p><p>You can also run in and Elude during the Joust to reduce aggro, but if you have the Troub, Guard, or Pally, you won't need to worry about this as much.</p><p>Confusion arrow lasts on the target for 10 seconds, and at Adept 3 increases hate gained by the target by 70% for 10 seconds, read: THIS INCLUDES YOU! If you are going to use Confusion arrow, best to hit escape right after, do an 8-10 count, then start firing again, I find it best to use confusion arrow as the MT is pulling, and then pop off improved surveil.</p><p> </p><p>Just my 2 cents, hope they help.</p><p> </p><p>Hexus Lupis</p><p>60 RAnger - Valor - Kithicor</p><p>Message Edited by Hexus on <span class="date_text">02-12-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:24 PM</span></p>

<div>first off get improved surveil and elude to Adept III if you havent already.</div><div> </div><div>No clue on your raid setup but make sure the MT group is spot on for maximum DPS, if there is a dirge and maybe a coercer or conj in the MT group that will help the MT hold aggro so much the better. A troub will help with the de aggro but they are normally put in the mage group if you just got the one. Also brigand and swashy are a Ranger's best friend with their uber debuffs. As an example, with those 2 my stream of arrows goes from around 800-900 to 1200-1300 a time due to their debuffs.</div><div> </div><div>no idea when you actually use stream but i will only use it when the mob's health is under 25 percent and im always ready on the cancel button in case i do get the aggro. Start using it slowly for maybe 5 - 10 seconds and judge the damage it is doing then adjust accordingly.</div><div> </div><div>At the end of the day its other classes that maximise our DPS, although masters etc will help with the damage classes that debuff the mob will make your DPS so much better</div>

<div>Hi guys,</div><div> </div><div>Our guild has recently grown large enough to start raiding. We started by learning some of the T5 encounters (although we are all mostly lvl 60 players), then moved to LJ, trash named in Court of Al'Afaz and will be starting on gates this week.</div><div> </div><div>I'm parsing between 800 and 1k dps right now. That's with standard crafted poison - not Adeste's - still working on quantity of supply for that one. As far as debuffing goes our guild doesn't have a Brigand who can attend regularly, so I'm maybe missing out on some damage via debuffs there.</div><div> </div><div>All my main attacks and agro debuffs are adept 3 (can't afford or find masters so far). I'm using Ironwood bow, one cobalt imbued wep and my prismatic.</div><div> </div><div>Are there any specific bits of gear at T5 or T6 I need to be looking out for to improve my damage output please? If so, which mob drops them - maybe i can persuade our guild leader to practice on that mob <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div><div>Any feedback would be appreciated.</div><div> </div><div>Mirdo - Najena.</div><div> </div><div> </div>

dont use trick arrow before Stream of arrows ..it almost doubles your hate for 10 seconds .. + the hate gain of SOA, no wonder your getting agro.<div></div>

<div>Trick Shot debate here: <a target="_blank" href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=39&message.id=21355">http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=39&message.id=21355</a></div><div> </div><div>I use it and don't seem to get anymore hate then normal that's just my own dealings with it.</div><div> </div><div>I also load up on mitigation debuff for the damage type of the MT's weapon.  More DPS for him = more hate.  It may be sacrificing some DPS but if you don't have a Troub, Pally or Guard in group it's a way to help your hate situation.</div><div> </div><div>Just some additional thoughts on top of all the good advice already given  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div><div>Falcon</div><div>60 Ranger</div><div>Kithicor</div>
